The HTC One A9 may look nearly identical the Apple iPhone 6, but HTC seems to think it’s the perfect alternative for those who love the looks of the iPhone but the freedom offered by Android.
This message is in plain view in the new HTC One A9 commercial, which is now available on YouTube. During the ad, HTC highlights the One A9′s all-metal design, 24-bit Boom Sound audio experience, optical image stabilization and RAW image capture, and the fact that the phone is running Android Marshmallow.
Android fans may dismiss the HTC One A9 as just another iPhone clone, but we know that there are quite a few people who stick with Apple simply because they love the look of its phones.
Whichever way, the a9 is beautiful.

We just ordered 3 for our business. Cant wait. i think it looks very classy from the videos and is a great upgrade from the One S. Android, Amoled, Image Stabilization, Image processing and sleekness and battery saver mode and a host of other goodies etc. It will be just fine. I am getting a solid day out of a smaller battery with moderate use and this is bigger, more efficient chipset / cores. I also like the Apple i6, and thought wouldn't that be nice to have if only it had Android in it. I must have had a dream and it just came true.
I must say i like HTC overall builds.

Dude, there is little to ZERO market for a 6.4" - 6.8" phone. Look how poorly the One Max did...relatively speaking. I thought you meant 5.4" to 5.8" in which case I would have said everything over 5.7" is too big. Another example, look at the Nexus 6...Least successful Nexus

1 - the screen is too small. At least it will be needed 5,2 inch.... :-(
2 - at least 16 MP in the camera please !!!!! :-(
3- At least 3000 mAh battery capacity please !!!!! :-(

Seriously, HTC makes a phone with two stripes on the back, Apple copies it, HTC copies it back. iPad has just a generic back, no stripes. Now HTC copied Apple in return, and I just think it's pathetic that someone wants to copy one of the ugliest phones (iPhone 6) on the market. I'm not buying any of that either.

and I am impressed with the overall concept and various capacity it has in terms of photographic innovation, refined process for battery conservation and the amoled sharpness in a cool smooth body. Probably a bit bigger than I wanted but it strikes a medium point between IPhone 6s and 6+ and with better specs than the 6s which I also like. Cant wait for the A9 to be delivered

bloody hell... please think something of your own....every bloody company is copying Apple...cant you guys get creative or something.Get a life guys have some vision. I was great fan of HTC when desire came out but after that everything is shit.... Design, specs colours everything count. Please bring out something new same old shit and same old copying.

Yet another small phone from HTC, they seem to think every person in this world is a dwarf. When will they offer a proper phablet size in the 6.4 - 6.8" region. Wake up HTC or else your profits will continue to fall.

This obsession with the iPhone is funny. "iPhone copy" are the words that keep flying about, forgetting the fact that many phone manufacturers replicate designs of each others handsets. This has been happening for a while now, but all everyone seems to see and think is, "iPhone copy".
Anyway, for the price, this is a great mid-range phone. This isn't a flagship by any means, though.

Apple copied HTC One M7's general back design for the 6, then HTC copied almost everything from iPhone 6s on One A9. HTC had unibody aluminum body on HTC Legend in 2010. Curved screen is from Nokia N9, 2011. Dual LED... Apple (but only dual-tone).
