You missed several companies there. Let's start from the big ones, how about IBM and VIA? They make their own chips, own designs, IBM has even own design and Fab, just like Intel. Samsung wouldnt be in the main 10 here with Mangoose.

pliz SAMSUNG where is my galaxy note 3 neo android 5 update yet here in France???my phone actually random restart i dont even know why.... waiting for the update for more than a year now....if i say i will go for microsoft or apple next people will start shooting i am a fanboy....wtf... do i need to buy a flagship to receive updates??if i want to spend 700Euros in a phone i will propably go for an iphone or 950XL

If only Samsung could employ iOS, instead of Android, as the operating system for devices, it could have been easier to compare with one less factor (the OS). Then can we only determine performance difference. But as it stands now, iOS is closed to Apple products
