Yeah most phones needs this technology... if its huawei yes they will make this happen as soon as possible they are marketing right now.. like the demo, so that more companies will buy their technology...

Great news! Especially that it does not shorten the battery life.
Smartwatches usage could suddenly become realistic!!
Charge it while you are in the bathroom, and you are ready.
Imagine a standardized charger mounted by the toilets at home and at work...
Optimally if the charging can be done wireless.

There are many batteries that are shown, either they have high capacity, charge fast or both, but sadly they aren't stable enough for commercial use. Lets hope this or some other technology comes around that we actually can have in our devices.

Nice job huawei, but what people dont understand is that chargers for this must be huge and won't be in retail boxes. Simple calculation: half charged capacity is 1.5Ah*3.8V=5.7Wh, if battery is charged within 5 minutes it is 1/12 of an hour, so 5.7*12= 68.4W . It is 15% bigger charger than MacBook 13 retina.

Finally. I don't care who invent it. I just want it now. Make it happen please Huawei. Im begging you. Showing it off is not enough. Make a real smartphone out of it now. Share your battery technology to the rest of crappy smartphone out there. We need you.
