Xiaomi has court case (Delhi - India) with regards to patent with Ericsson and not allowed to sell Mediatek based devices in India. That's why this also won't come to India, I guess. Suprisingly, they have not introduced any new device sooner, people were expecting note 2, mi4c, this pro model, bit none has come to India, not even the Qualcomm based

This device will probably not be available in India. Xiaomi is not certified to sell smartphones with Mediatek chips in India.

So so samsung. Xiaomi did it again to redmi users. They are starting to make new variants everytime for the same line.
We Redmi Note users have been left out because of this tactics. So what's next? Redmin Note 3 Entry level then Note 3 Prime pro duo? Duh. Xiaomi I'm done with you. You're the next samsung. Making variants almost 3 times a year, dizzing your consumers of your not-so-old models through delayed OS UPDATES!!!!

Looong name, like Samsung. This it's 16 GB version, name of the 32 GB version will be Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro Prime. :)) I'm just a hatter, my Redmi Note 2 Prime has shipped 2 weeks ago. :))
