Regardless of who copies who, Apple is the only one who gets remembered, Apple is the only one who sets the standard and gets the world talking. Even when they design something small (pencil) the entire planet starts talking.

Copying is an art...
You even copied your seatmates answer when you too the exams lol ^_^ and almost copied his/her name as well...
Let them be... If you don't like the phone then don't buy it... Let them copy who ever they want to copy... Everyone is copying from everybody anyway... You keep on bashing on one brand and on the other while the brand you like also have it's own flaws with regards to specs and design... All brands have their own flaws/pros/cons and all brand copy from one another... There is no point of arguing who copied who because everyone is copying from everybody...

Doesn't matter who is apple copied, when first htc one came out no one make phone like that.
You have to remember just like first compact phone of nokia every phone try to mimics their phone to nokia style.

We have to admit that apple inspire another smartphone design language. remember when phone made with wafer style iphone 4 to 5s lot smartphone follow this design
Actually it's direct impact of customer experience, some customer feel happy and proud when their phone looks like an iphone. Most of them new brand or chinese brand to gain market.
Brands that still have pride to not follow the design like sony, motorolo, sharp and LG

Poor Oppo / HTC and android fanboys.
You may copy iPhone external looks, but you can never copy iPhone's performance, build quality and legendary reputation. Hahaha.
And even if you wanna "copy" iPhone to "show off" to other people, other people just take a closer look.. and saw its just Oppo or HTC, will just laugh and walk off.
