But I was just noting that even Mozilla Foundation had to start asking for Donations, just as other developers that do the same, or Wikipedia.

Just to say, it's not selling. It's a nice way of begging. But it's begging anyway. (That's what Non-profit organizations as Red Cross and such do every year,m no fuzz for it).

Also, it's a donation, it's not a requirement. That has always existed, just not on the front page.

Jim Cook must be Tim Cook's relative, explains why Mozilla wants nothing to do with Google lol and I have a hunch they won't be making $330m per year anymore, but let's see.

It used to be an excellent alternative to IE back in the day but now we have better options like Chrome and even Edge.

I hope with more revenue the make FF better.
Bacause, I'm FF user for years now and not going to switch (TBH I tried, but No Other browser offered the same Experience as FF).

I love Firefox (even though I no longer use it I still think it's the best browser), but moving away from Google and replacing it with Yahoo is a really stupid decision. Then again, they are a company and they need cash, so I guess it made sense for them to take whoever offered more...and there's still the option to set the default page to something else so it's not the end of the world either.

I have slowest internet when using phone gprs to connect. I can really see the speed at which every browser loads pages. in my experience opera is the fastest when using same website for long time, at first it loads slowly but then speed increases. Firefox is in second place, it takes similar time for loading the same page multiple times. chrome is not bad but sometimes it stucks while loading the page and after one or more refresh it works. in my computer chrome is biggest consumer of memory, but in high speed internet connection chrome is the best &second place opera. for developers chrome is best Then Firefox
