Hi . flashed my lg g4 to get the marshmallow os because I've heard it was the "best" but I'm disappointed as ever since, my battery drains like mad ( usually last for 1 1/2 days, but now barely one). How do I go back to lollipop ( :-( ) please? Thanks.

I manually updated my LG G4 because I did not receive this via OTA. I use this guide http://androidfunz.com/update-lg-g4-on-6-0-marshmallow-via-lgup-custom-rom/

I need help with my LG H815, it basically downloaded new OS 6.0 and then rebooted to start the installation, the first stage was done successfully. When it started the second stage it turned off the screen and now the phone is dead. It wont show any light when I plug the charger and wont turn on at all.
Please any advice will be appreciated

Mine LG G4 creating problem after MM update day before yesterday; battery getting drain instantly and my cell display respond too slow, even sometimes i couldn't use my cell phone after several login attempts, and its creating irritation and fuss. :(
Battery recharge is also getting slower, i don't know what to do, should i restore factory setting or roll-out to lollipop? Can anyone suggest?

Hey guys, I just did the OS Update to Marshmallow - very silly thing to do - besides continual error messages like "android.process.media has stopped" my Camera doesn't work saying "failure to write" and my Gallery has disappeared completely. I've seen some posts re changing back to Lollipop - but I use a Mac so it doesn't work. I wouldn't update too soon :(((

My LG G4 started running hot all the time and the battery lasted 2 hours instead of 12 when I updated to Marshmallow. I was going crazy looking for solutions, and looking in the Battery Usage section didn't help. What I did was, I installed an app called "OS Monitor", which shows you what apps are using what % of the CPU. I found that "Accuweather" was using 20% of the CPU all the time ("Battery Usage" did not show this app consuming any battery %). I uninstalled "Accuweather" and now my phone is back to normal, working like a charm like before. Hope this helps someone!

Filip, 12 Dec 2015Does it overheat? I'm from Serbia too and I got the update ... moreI updated to v20D via OTA yesterday, my phone was also overheating with v20a and v20b but that problem has disappeared with v20c and v20d. I factory reseted the phone after the update, but battery life is still not so good... It's worst than on lollipop for sure, I'll let it settle down for a few days and if it doesn't get better I'll downgrade, I was happy with lollipop any way.

Updated to 6.0 a week ago. visualy everything is the same. autobrightnes is better, but battery lasts lesser... on lolipop it lasted for about 4.5 hours of screen on time, with marshmallow it last about 2.5... that is the biggest disapointment for me... do not update if the batterylife is a big deal for you
