I will say it again, because nothing is registering in that head of yours, go and take a look at the Z Ultra comments page and you will find so many people are desperate to buy this, and you'll also find that most people who buy the Z Ultra will never go back to a smaller device, same here. You can play with your little toy but most of us want something that we can enjoy using for gaming, movies, browsing etc. When this came out, most of the tech sites were against it but in the end were very impressed with it.

I really don't like some video on YouTube that posted Sony Z5 premium compared to other phone, when Sony got faster than other phone they didn't say It's Sony faster or good one, when the others phone got some faster, they say Sony got behind other phone, and put some bad wallpaper on Sony phone to look awful when compared to others. But Sony is always great by the way the poster jealousy with Sony New Flagship,Z5 premium Haha. I hope Some user don't confused with what was posted on YouTube. Sony is a real smart phone you have to know and got one. The great phone is not look for while Open the phone fastest, or close fastest, or application run fastest, but the system take you along with 3years that it still be great for its smart phone is Sony. Love Sony.

The competitors trolling Sony will release Z6 with different size, they looks like advise people to wait the Z6 and don't buy Z5 series or buy any others, this will make Sony lost sales for the first step, but the every step is important for them. If the Z6 come out, I am very sure the competitors will say the Z7 will release soon after...again n again. Will the competitors stop the stupid marketing strategy?

I am always believed in Sony, and Sony always does a great job on its smart phone, nice design, great camera. I hope Sony doesn't give up your next-generation of smart phone, Don't worry about someone else who said Sony is not good phone or Hot phone, the true smart phone is Sony. Love Sony.

And I can say the same thing about why Sony decided to release the 4" Mini which is even SMALLER than their well known Compact series, there is huge demand for more compact phones (didn't you read all the comments I posted or did you deliberately ignore them to maintain your false beliefs?) because people are tired of companies releasing one gargantuan phone after the next. And even GSMA knows that 5.2-5.5" is the sweet spot which is why they didn't hesitate to say it, and Sony always releases their primary flagship Z phone in that range along with several other versions for the less demanding niche market. And I keep mentioning Asians because bigfoot phones are way more popular in their continent than it is here in the west. Again get it through your thick convoluted encrusted skull, not everyone wants or needs a godzilla mega phone and those that do are in the minority, which is why companies are sticking to the current standard. And in almost all scenario the smaller version of the phone outsells the much larger like the iPhone 6/S and the + for example, who btw is releasing a 4" 7C next year.

At the moment the Z Ultra is doing me just fine and the 6.4" screen is perfect but who knows in maybe 12 to 18 months time I may just go for the larger screen.

I've said to you before, go and check the Z Ultra comments page and you will find lots of people, (not asians, not sure where you've got that assumption from), who are still desperate to buy the Z Ultra, 2 years after it's release. Another reason why they've also decided on releasing the 5.8" model for next year, more and more people want phablets, people are realising that these other devices are too small for watching movies, doing work, browsing the internet, playing games etc, so it makes sense to have a large phablet as an all in one.

Don't get me wrong I'm not a hater but until they change these things (which I know they won't without backlash from their dwindling number of loyal fans) they will remain in the back of my mind.

This only strengthens my own theory and turns yours into hot flaming sh*t lol..here let me paste all of the ones I copied so far after skimming through the comment section quickly:

Yessssss, he return of the 4 inche(r)s at last. Decent 4' had disappered, the only one remaining the old iphone 5s, but next year with 6c it will return too. Both of them will be pricey, but it's a good way for expecting other cheaper but good 4' midrangers. The last one was S3mini, still unrivaled as for 'pocketabilty': thin bezels and roundshaped. Still waiting for its successor, its overall dimensions are the max for me, not a nm more :)
Don't forget that up to 3 years ago the most sold phone on earth was 3.5' iphone 4s and everibody was happy with it. I would like to see that size again on a decent midranger, not those 512MB ram junk.
And last year (2014) the most sold was... guess what... 4' iphone 5s.
While the smaller androds were under par or, like Moto E, so bulky to make irrelevant the screen size.
Wow...when is it coming out!!! ??? I'm about thinking to buy the Z5 compact and already talking about Z6! I've not even digested the 5 yet!

Finaly a four inch sceen phone with current Android Version. Why do phone manufacturers think pokets and hands got bigger in the last years?
Please keep the specifications same for all the phone except for the screen size.. A 4" inch phone with high end specifications is what many people are looking for..
I like the 4 inch z6 mini with powerful cpu and battery 🔋..
What a predicament, i am near to update to z5 compact. :'(

I have to imagine which planet you're on when you even refute and deny official company statements haha And it sucks that the Z6 Ultra doesn't have force touch esque features, just goes to show how much Sony cares about super bigass "phones" they'll probably stop producing it again when they move on to the 7's.

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2015G2 is equipped with OIS, not sure if Nexus 5X has it but tr... moreWell, I wasn't aware that the G2 had OIS without protrusion, however, I started looking for videos that show it's camera in action like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVY7nsFsWQU and it looks to me that it does a poor job. Could it be the case that the mobile OIS tech in 2013ish was less advanced and took up less space than today's stabilisation? Perhaps that could explain... I believe that the nexus has it and it has a protrusion too, surprise, surprise.
