I wonder if this will be released in the UK? No sign of the V10 or the Note 5. What about the Galaxy view? why aren't things being released here?

after G2, the following Gx should stay at 5.2" and improve on internal hardware, keep the bezel thickness and reduce phone thickness. Create another model for upsize screen... otherwise LG is pressured to keep increasing the screen size for new flagship model .. big mistake.

Iris scanner as an additional security option is not the most secure way to protect phone.
Somebody can unlock the phone just by facing it to your eye even when you dont want to or you being forced by someone.
Iris scanner can be use in secure area only.

If the camera sensor size is 1/2", that will be huge, even larger than some compact digital camera

AnonD-400457, 10 Dec 2015i agree plus screen will be probably less power hungryAgreed. I’ve gotten used to being able to carry a spare battery around that I can swap out as necessary (which is great for twelve hour work days or when you’re out all day). I don’t want to go back to having to keep my phone fully charged before I step outside just to guarantee that it doesn’t die by the time I get home.

If they’re taking away my ability to carry a spare battery, they better give me a battery that’s at least twice the size of my G4. I’ll happily take a 6000 mAh battery. I don’t need a paper thin, fragile feeling phone. I’ve used extended batteries on both my G3 and G4 and I love them. They add bulk, but it’s not too bulky and I’d even go as far as to say it makes the phone more comfortable since the roundness of the back fits perfectly in hand.

The UI? That's everything else. Your lock screen, you notifications pull down, your quick settings, your volume pop-up/sliders, the settings menu, the phone app.

The launcher is an app. You can change that. You can't change the UI.

Bad descission by LG, unibody phones are snob friendly, not user friendly. Reason - more work to replace battery, slippery or sharp(in a bad way), most of them are missing an sd slot and they don't help in the long run look wise.

You cannot "bash" current sizes because, believe it or not, they sell. And they sell because people like the big size. Unless your have some sort of growth issue, even a 7 inch screen device shouldn't be bigger than your head.

duh? who cares about UI? even my grandma knows how to download launchers on the playstore to customize a smartphone, UI is not an excuse on buying a smartphone, and LG's UI is just simple it is not the best looking UI available but not the ugliest too. It's just a so so that you can just live with.
