How is the Galaxy S6 still not on a stable 6.0?
Putting the Nexus devices aside, the Shield Tablet has it, along with quite a few other phones...how is Samsung not releasing it yet?

Anonymous, 23 Dec 2015i think android is another name of "hang, stuck" or whateve... moreTrue.
I have the Note 4 (Sprint variant) and it hangs alot.
From a simple fingerprint swipe to unlock, the phone hangs and THE FINGER PRINT SCANNER CRASHES -__-
The stock camera app is slow to render an image when taking a selfie.
I'll get rid of it soon.
Having used iOS and WP, I Prefer WP since its' practically lag fee and smooth and supports customizations far beyond what iOS can dream of.
Will get the Lumia 1520 or 950XL in Jan.

Anonymous, 23 Dec 2015i think android is another name of "hang, stuck" or whateve... moreWell I've seen an absolute ton of iPhones lag and hang. Especially the iPhone 6. My friend's is only about 6 months old, same as my S6 which doesn't lag or hang at all yet, and her's literally freezes for about 5 secs. How's Apple's payroll by the way? Anygood?

More needs are being met, more niches being filled (even Marshall has a phone haha). I like the color purple very much, so I got a Sony (seriously). Glad you got something that suits your needs.

Milo, 23 Dec 2015Spot-on. But it's a shame some people want the fastest upda... moreBeing the one to mention LG first and being LG user and ex-Samsung user I have to clarify this - LG did actually improved over the previous ROM. With the new M I have: very noticeably better battery management, improved IR blaster functions (it was flawed with bugs and not-so-clear instructions to use, rendering it useless), some new functions (some of them useful - like app permissions, others not so much, even useless). So - in an update there always are improvements and some stuff that only fills the lines in the press release. LG as a base is useful with less gimmicky functions, while Samsung is full of extras and functions most people are not going to use, or in other words - functions that are very niche. It's not bad to have them, but they sell their products advertising the phone as feature-rich, which buyers want to hear. Meanwhile those exact niche features running in the background make the UI heavy and slow down the OS upgrades for all customers. In the end everybody makes the decision for themselves. Me personally - I wanted well balanced phone with the highest quality camera and fast upgrades to newer Android. Everybody are happy in their own way.

i think android is another name of "hang, stuck" or whatever and it also have version (category of hanging) e.g Marshmallow, Lollipop, KitKat, Ice Cream Sandwich And Froyo. never seen any phone with Symbion OS or IOS hanged but android is champion of hanging. just open a simplest application Whatsapp etc then just think about to open another application, your android phone will hanged before you open the second application and the RAM story is extremely funny just draw your pattern to unlock your phone right after unlocking you will see your RAM will full 87% without using any thing like wifi, bluetooth, call, message, sensor, location, hotspot, its all about Samsung galaxy s6 101% disappointed. Marshmallow is new version of "hang" i hope so and every android user should expect

T-Ill, 23 Dec 2015U are wrong LG has way more featureintensive skin than sams... moreYou may be right that lg has the heaviest skin BTW Samsung has the most features it's the most feature filled ROM its doesn't take long to make a heavy skinned ROM BTW it takes a long time to make feature packed roms and all the features have to be stable and polished before they release it doesn't matter how long we wait but we want polished and bug free roms not heavy and buggy roms.

But it's a shame some people want the fastest updates for the most bragging rights. The reasons updates are released in the first place: (1)bug fixes, (2)releasing a new feature/s. (1) If there are less bugs to begin with, there is less need for updates. (2) Testing features is not easy - not by any means. And like you said (or implied): why (needlessly) fix something that ain't broke?
