Anonymous, 04 Jan 2016You guys should also do a 3G/4G connected web browsing. Now... moreThis test is just a simulation for your estimation.. They cannot cater to all types of users running multiple apps in background or over 4G.. This is not your mother's website you know

You guys should also do a 3G/4G connected web browsing. Nowadays, we use our phones a lot while being on the move, relying on non-WiFi connection. To make it even more realistic, there should be messaging apps running in the background sending/receiving messages.
I have this phone since Sept last year. On average, I get around 3 hrs of screen time (using GSam Batt Monitor to record) with the screen brightness very close to the lowest level allowed. This is with constant 3G/4G connection used by messaging apps and Bluetooth connection with my smartwatch. Based on this, there is a factor of approx 2.5 if we compare against the WiFi browsing test results.
By the way, I cannot find a list of apps installed when you guys did the testing. It's really hard to gauge the results without knowing what is installed/running in the background.

The website test should do quite well too.
"Should," but the Endurance rating test by 50 percent is less than we expected.
