Now that Samsung is top dog they use other things to lure regular customers like unique software features and incorporating more metal and glass in their premium design, which makes including a removable back cover and battery pack all the more difficult to implement. I know you're hurt by their decisions but that's business.

Those who complaints about non removable batteries ...come on man...... you have got wireless charging don't u........just stop complaining....... U want a removable battery go for some other flagship say g4 but again u guys are going to complain about lack of fingerprint sensor.......and yeah apple....oh no those are too much pricey.......and z5 ...i don't like omnibalance design y don't u change it....and any bb devices..oh no no no....not a blackberry anymore........and OEM ...no no i don't want chinese phones i doubt the quality and security.....did i forget to mention lumias oh...no no....no windows phones....the os is still in developing stage ...........oh come on....what else u guys want...this feature of that phone in this one....that feature of this phone in that one....and once again copy cats........and at last nobody is going to change..

Cutting that part of your customers away is a sh*t move from Samsung's part especially since that niche was one of the primary reasons that the Note series became such a success, in the first place.
To be clear unlike other users I'm not saying that removable battery should return for all models, just for the ones that are *tools* to professional. Like the Note Series and a probably to a mini-like phone (like Galaxy Alpha), for those who only want a serviceable phone (yet are still away from plugs often).
BTW I get why Samsung moved to unibodies, what I don't get is the complete elimination of removable batteries. It completely destroys the work flow of travelling professionals. It's not a minor feature, it's one of *the* main features that many of us went to Samsung in the first place.
A non-professional won't understand so their comments are frankly unwelcome to us, it's like wanting a 4x4 car (because I move off-road a lot) and some of you telling me "so what that they removed 4-wheeled motion" (it IS a big deal).

I know that you're happy with your mid-range phone, I just have higher needs than you, I buy neither mid-ranger or low-end phones, only High-End for me (before Note 4 I had the original Note which was the best of the best for its time)...

BTW no , a lot of us are constantly on the move so we're not constantly close to a plug. Even if we were we would still need more than an hour for charging (which sucks given than a spare gives you instant charge) and even that was not an issue you still have to deal with your dying phone after a year or two of heavy use.
Get a grip dude, there is literally no professional who loved Samsung's move to ditch the replaceable battery, they basically told us "go to Apple", at least they're the original. I'm sick and tired of Samsung's me-tooism especially since it harms their base line so much...
I'm more sick and tired by people like you whom defend this kind of behavior though ... I really hope that you're paid by Samsung because if not ... damn man.

When I travel, I always take a spare battery.Changing the battery whenever you want is a good thing.
This new trend of non-user-replaceable batteries is idiotic. Even the waterproofing or the thin device arguments are nonsensical. You can design it to be thin, waterproof and nevertheless replaceable.

replaceable batteries are useful in some scenarios, but not really a problem when battery wears off in few years. One can take the phone to a service shop and ask for battery replacement (even if not user replaceable), no big deal.

I am not sure what you are trying to say there but if you are saying Samaung needs to focus on the niche market then yeah their latest designs are perfect but then they are complaining about their lowered sales. In that case they have to ditch the focus on the spoiled zealot type crowd and focus on the main consumer. That means bringing back features that the vast majority actually care for like the ones I mentioned. It's not going to happen because some MBAs have decided it for you that binning your phones every two years is the way to go, people will, and are, simply going to the option that allows them to keep their phones for longer.
Clear example. Note 4 is the best selling Phablet right now because of replaceable battery, Samsung wont admit to it but just talking to retailers you can get the picture. Samsung lost it's brand worth when they started out right following Apple's leads. Now they are no different to a 'Me too' brand. it would have been good if the things they copied from Apple were actually good but knowing Apple does only trash ideas for low intellect people not much is left to say for Samsung.
