I have a Gallaxy A5 2016. Never had as much problems with one phone. It freezes, hangs, resets. It is just a pice of expensive garbage that looks cool. Don't look at specs, the software is the problem. DONT BUY THIS.

I'm a proud owner of a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (which IMHO is better than the Note 5, yuck!).
If I don't own a Note phablet, I'd definitely get an A series smartphone from Samsung anytime, anywhere. S series stands for s***! I don't even know why they're still keeping it in their roster and not phasing it out yet. After all, the Note line is their TRUE flagship, not the S.

Soon xiaomi will go ahead of samsung.They are really doing best.. samsung is now walking on the streets of apple.. I hope and pray they fall down soon. Both the A5 and A7(2016) are crap and costly for no reason not making any sense to me. Just the premium build ? Lol no one cares nowadays.

Samsung want to maintain this A series as a midrange or semi-flagship phone within the lower budget. Throw in led notification & heart rate sensor; then it is exactly a galaxy s6.

The processor is not upto the mark. Should have used 810, for above 25k smartphone 617 is not justified.

I was quitte inpressed about the new A5 2016, it runs GTA SA on max with 25fps wich is good for compared to the performance of it on paper.
Wondering how much better the A7 2016 is compared to the A5 2016.

Samsung phones slow down after 6 months to 8 months usage. I used 4 samsung phones (Galaxy core, SII, SIII and S4). Same problem in all of them. And there is no solution for this.

Why hot? Samsung release a lot and all sizes for all-ranges (low,mid,hi-end+something between) and that makes them able to put there tech according to what best is awailable. Well they make a most parts in phone so they can plan thoroughly.
