Anonymous, 09 Feb 2016Done with the self-satisfication and prejudice? Good. Sonys... moreLook good? Check. Great screen? Check. Great CPU? Check. ... ...

but sound ? speakers ? Check ? NO! No, check , but Samsung fail about sound and speakers.

I waited a long time, and I will wait more time - the day when Samsung will put two STEREO and FRONT speakers at S7 or S7 edge, or Samsung Note !!!
But no !

Let's have 5" or 5.5" screen, 2500px, OLED all about look and looks but the sound.... no... let put ONE speaker (like we humans have only ONE ear !!) and for sound - who cares ?
if they want STEREO must use ONLY headphones !!!

Samsung does not care about sound, because we, humans, we have only one ear.

Im not saying every phone they make is bad. Just saying that the S line has more problems than other flagship lines. I have been uding Samsungs cheaper phones and they have worked quite well. been using To name some; Moto G 16gb. Lumia 900. IPhone 5. Galaxy Note 2. Galaxy a5. Huawei y5 something. Xperia z5 compact. Lg optimus 2x.... Every brand has their good and bad sides.

Fade., 09 Feb 2016Im never gona buy Samsung S line. That and HTC have been pr... moreDone with the self-satisfication and prejudice? Good. Sonys absolutely suck in terms of reliability out of the top brands. Huaweis get next to no software support in the long term and they're aggressively priced for a reason (once you have it you're stuck with an OS and hardware that will become outdated in no time). HTCs are overpriced and have offered garbage for the past 2 years. I've tried all the brands and I sell phones for a living and let me tell you Samsung are the Droid kings for a reason. For me, they offer the best all-round solution to most of my personal phone needs. Look good? Check. Great screen? Check. Great CPU? Check. Great GPU? Check. Great cameras? Check. Great connectivity? Check. 2 years of software/OS support? Check. From the S6 onwards you can include; Accurate and quick fingerprint scanner? Check. Wireless and fast charging options? Check. Less bloatware? Check. Still runs great after nearly 10 months? Check. Yes the lack of an SD card slot sucks but I don't miss it with my unlimited data plan and WiFi availability where I can use cloud storage to its fullest and if I'm honest swapping batteries isn't something I or most people I know have done since we had 3310s. I just bought a 12000mah Quickcharge 2.0 brick for a little more than the cost of a replacement/spare battery and my power problems are solved for my phone, tablet and bluetooth peripherals. All with one purchase. With the S7 apparently bringing water and dust resistance back along with an SD card slot it makes Samsung again THE best all-rounder in flagship territory. It isn't even like they're a jack of all trades, master of none either. The S6 had the undisputed best SoC of its generation and its camera, screen and pretty much everything were up there as some of the best in the business.

Let's clear some BS up as well whilst we are at it. My Note 3 and S6 have been absolutely the best phones I have personally owned. My Note was as quick at the end as it was the day I bought it and my S6 is keeping this tradition running strong. I like to define myself as a power user and run CPU and GPU intense stuff quite regularly with no issue. Touchwiz isn't even that bad and I don't experience any lag whatsoever and if you have then I'm sorry but you're either installing crap on your phone or you've got a defective unit which considering these companies make millions of them there's bound to be some bad ones as no one can make an entire line 100% defect free. I've seen iPhones that don't allow the WiFi to be turned on, Sonys that lag, brick themselves and just die, Huaweis that don't want to do anything whatsoever except crash, die and reset and don't get me started on LGs... Considering the MOST popular brand I sell is Samsung they are also the least I see returned and when they are its usually because of the user (for example I had a woman come in this morning claiming her phone 'never rings' and after about 3 seconds of delving into the settings I found she had 'auto reject all calls' turned on). Smartphones don't make smart people unfortunately.

Another good news from Samsung. I think the S7 series are going to rock it. :)

What about the G5? It's supposed to get launched on the same day but not a single news about it. It looks like LG know how to "cover" it.

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2016Lmfao. Cute story kidYup its a cute REAL story. Tens of same phones constantly on. Expecially the S4 and S5 were the most problematic. In 2. Years of testing those models had constantly swollen batteries and due to the swollen batteries broken displays. Research done with hundreds to thousands of phones. All over Europe. Most reliable brands were Sony and Huawei. It aint an opinnion its A Fact based on long running test with tens of same models. Tens of Galaxy S models failing. Wheres your cute little story facts? Ive got mine proven?

Oh look at me. I've commented to say I'm never going to buy a Samsung. Aren't I special...

You guys have some serious inferiority complexes. Buy what you want, it's a free market but slagging off something you've never owned or used makes you look like a tool. Great phones, in my opinion, but who cares about that?

It's very disappointing to buy an expensive flagship smartphone,
that the manufacture will support (firmware updates) for only 1.5 or 2 years.

                            Skipped S1, S2 for S3 then S4 for S5 and now kipped S6 for S7. I think I'm doing the right thing.

Octa, I guess, could be a name for the camera module. It does kinda have 8 corners, so the base shape is a bit like an octagon.
