AnonD-77443, 09 Feb 2016You must love the pathetic battery life of LG? You forget the fact that Snapdragon processors of 2015 are inefficient and tend to overheat. It's not LG's fault.

However probably, the Snapdragon 820 will be the best processor in 2016. Especially the single core performance.

While if G5 will have removable battery, I will be able to replace it to a 3x bigger battery, so even with heavy usage the battery life will be much better than your poor S7's.

Something bas... moreTo replace the non-removable battery, you have to send the phone to the service (or travel a lot of kilometers to the service), wait for days or weeks while the phone is in the service (depending on where you live, how far the service is) and you can't use your phone this time. They have to open the unibody phone which will result in damage. And at the end, you have to pay a lot more money than just buying a new battery.

Not everyone wants to waste money every year on phones.

It's enough to buy a flagship phone once, then it will serve the user for 5-8 years. So it's a big investment. The removable battery is a must have, and not only for replacing the degraded, worn out battery, but it's necessary to be able to insert 2x 3x higher capacity, bigger, extended battery.

But you're the typical consumer who is completely under the control of the planned obsolescence.

Companies are coming up with a new flagships every 6 months now and carriers are offering to renew your hardware as new comes out. No one is interested in you "making an investment". Furthermore, if you consider buying a highly utilitarian device for everyday use an "investment" in the first place - there's something wrong with your understanding of what investment is.

Consumer electronics aren't an investment. They aren't meant to serve for centuries, and if they did - they would become obsolete long before that.

Something basically people/user can't easily remove, but technician could remove/replace in case there is problem with the battery.

The non-user removable is to keep is as thin as possible and reduce structural problem by removing the battery hatch.

Anonymous, 10 Feb 2016LG G5 battery will be only 2800. Good luck with Lags GoodLol, "Lags Good" love it. Indeed LG certainly won't be able to compete, why even the G4 and V10 were riddled with battery life problems, stuttering UI etc... While Samsung S6 Edge Plus and Note5 owned in battery, smooth UI and incredible build quality. :)

Once again, the S7 Edge will beat the competition where it matters most, Battery Life. :)
