Are we talking fingerprint/passcode protection (which is about as reliable as a PIN code) or are we talking the actual software inside the phone? Samsung has the backbone of Knox, etc and as far as I'm aware they are still the only Paypal approved/verified fingerprint/card system.

About time this came to the uk.....between apple and samsung, mobile payments are about to become the norm i think now apple is ahead in terms of availability but limited by the tech that retail stores have but samsung hit the nail on the head with its magnetic method to at least make it more compatible.....im looking forward to ditching my wallet lol

AnonD-411799, 11 Feb 2016whats next no head phone jack?In Spain I use NFC contactless pay system since 2014 by BBVA Wallet and my Note 2, Apple didn't have any device with NFC, like now really, people pay por iPhone with NFC but Apple does not let you use it.

Any MTC, no NFC, cannot offer VIRTUALLY guarantee that you cannot pass their FIREWAL. The problem arises from these devices when using payment system. Transmission-reception, all information is done by air. At this point the problem occurs.

AnonD-499809, 11 Feb 2016Already got it in UK on my galaxy s6 edge , ee cash on tap ... moregaminguru, the advantage of Samsung pay is that it works with non-wireless payment machines as well. You just need to get the phone closer to the magnetic stripe reader. And it also shouldn´t matter what sim you have.

Already got it in UK on my galaxy s6 edge , ee cash on tap just get a nfc enabled sim from ee and your good to go anywhere i see wireless payment i just tap my phone and my bank card isnt wireless
