12 February, 2016
The two will keep their 4:3 Super AMOLED screens, but will move to a Snapdragon 652 chipset.

I don't understand why the complaines. The procesor doesn't mater that much. The user experience maters.

I would never upgrade my Tab S 8.4. Samsung lost me with their 4:3 aspect ratio and decrease in pixel density. Not to mention the absence of a flash. Way to go Samsung...

The resolution is lower than for the original Tab S from 2014. This just isn't enough for a pentile display. Fonts and so on aren't crisp at all, in particular on the 9.7".
It isn't as horrible a rip-off as the Tab 3 was, but it's way too much money for a mediocre tablet.
It'll be interesting to see how they'll respond to Apple's first 4k iPad. Hopefully they'll up the resolution. 4k Oled would be something to see indeed.

            keep 7"

Based on the scores shown by the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro, wich uses a Snapdragon 650 - with only two A72 cores -, this one is lacking in Geekbench, mostly in single-core performance (it should score north of 1500 points, the A72 is that strong). Maybe those benchmarks are from an yet unfinished or unoptimized device, with beta software.

Wow, the ipad air 2, even though almost two years old at the release of tab s3, will destroy the flagship samsung tablet again. samsung shouldnt charge the tab s2 and s3 at ipad prices.

Thinking whether to go for Tab S3 or ipad air3. I think Air3 is better option coz of future updates.

I regret buying S6 edge. Iy comes with free hairline scratches on the display. Never a Samsung Flagship again..

Wish they would make only Note tablets. The tabs offer no worthy differentiation from the competition.
