Windows Store listings now tell you if an app is built for Win 10

12 February, 2016
Microsoft has issued a new update to Windows Store for Win 10. Although there isn't any change log included with the update, what's noticeable is the fact that the store listings now explicitly tell if the app in question is "built for Windows 10."

Gibby, 12 Feb 2016So if an App isn't built for win 10 it won't work? Google... moreApp will still work fine. Built for Windows 10 means you can use in Continuum. A Windows 10 phone can hook up to monitor (wired or wireless) and use as a PC. Look up games like Rise of the Tomb Raider (in the store), Quantum Break, Fable Legend, and more coming to Windows 10 store that you can only dream of in Google store. Quantum Break and more games will have cross sync between Xbox One and PC, like it's already happening between Windows 10 PC and Windows 10 mobile since they use same app store. You'll only have to pay for one version and can use it on either platform. This is one Windows vision is about.

Still no what's new and date of update in Updates page.
Still no made for Windows 10 collection and no filter in search and collections. There is no point of making a mark when you still has to open an app page.

There are also few fixes with Russian localization. But pretty poor fixes and some incorrect translations are still there.

Top chart of apps were Best apps before. Then transliterated as top charts, words that doesn't exist in Russian. Now they "fixed" it with overloaded App with highest scores that sounds pretty bad.

          Share still Allow Shared Access...

Yet local top charts gets almost no updates. Collections are not localized. Offers useless local US services to rest of the world. Categories are nearly empty outside US.

So if an App isn't built for win 10 it won't work?
Google apps tend to work regardless of what version you have.
Are there any apps on the Windows app store worth downloading?! I have yet to find one.
