i was alittle exited before reading this article
thought i was eventually going to buy a HTC phone
825 ought to have offered a more decent processor and better battery
dissapointed
ill just go for the xperia X Perfomance

Speckle as a selling point for a phone?
My girlfriend has a speckle casing on her samsung phone, it costs $5 and I bought it for her. Now HTC, you have heard what your customers SAID but DID you LISTEN?
I have a HTC desire 1st generation phone. It is a very good phone and I love it. However, that is the first and last HTC phone I had and will ever have. Do you know why?
I think you know why but you only hear but don't listen. WAKE UP HTC, WAKE UP!!! You are on the verge of irrelevancy. The end is near and if you persist on the same path, you might as well throw in the towel and donate your phones to a museum.

Honestly why did they go with a 32bit CPU in the 825? The snapdragon 410 would be been better in this case? and real facing speaker? pick your act up HTC no matter why we won't see you around in the next 10 years...

Even SD410 is outdated now... And companies focusing on SD415, SD616, SD650 for there new launches...
.
They are thinking there speaker setup n boom sound may help...
Get a life HTC...
I used Lenovo Vibe X3 n its Dolby Atmos over sterio Front speakers n headsets are awesome...Best part is SD808

Atleast SD 400 is better than SD 210.
So no worries.
I wish HTC used SD 412or higherit would have been excellent.

once I was a very very proud owner of HTC one m7 ,but now I can't even look an HTC devices,they were the top notch,they had flagships(with flagship processor)that sometimes rivals Samsung's own flagship's of that same year.
but now what are they?a Taiwan charity company trying to raise up funds,HTC sucks

They think their stereo speakers and BoomSound is going to save them but they compromised their specs to compensate/avoid the high cost which would be reflected in the final price

Since it's now over 2 years old you can't expect any more updates. It started on 4.3 jellybean got 4.4 kitbag THEN 5.0 lollipop. I personally think that that's enough.
