Put a case on a Sony Z1 and this device, same case and please tell me the difference between the two devices, nothing.
within 3 years they've changed nothing but released 10 phones ?

what is this joke ? xperia x what and what ? maybe they'll come up with xperia x toilet seat covers too . failed marketing gimmicks. want impressive marketing gimmicks learn a thing or two from apple i will still fall for there tv ads throw out my s6 edge and go buy an iphone 6s. seriously .

Sony developed an interactive mobile projector, not a mobile with projector, Samsung will copy.
Sony Ear, samsung will copy.
Premium built waterproof phone Samsung just copied.
There are some funny looking modulate camera lenses for s7 I see, sammys funny try on copying sonys external semipro camera lense modules.
Sonys wide lens giving better field of view, sammy just copied.
Waterproof usb charger and 3.5 mm jack, samsung just copied
Designwise samsung copied loads more than sony ever did from iphone, down to antenna stripes.
What samsung can not copy from sony obviously, is stereo speakers, multitasking speed, sound quality with ldac, cameta module without a hump on the back design flaw.
So, what sony copied from samsung?

Please Sony just don't follow apple and samsung! Please don't include in your smartphones useless technology like 3d touch, fingerprint sensor or iris camera detection! Make your smartphones unique and include just necessary technology inside. For example I would prefer better baterry than those useless technologies!

It... moreSony again has copied Samsung with the phone projector idea. Samsung Galaxy Beam in 2012 and Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 in 2014. Projected screens up to 50 inches.
Samsung had waterproof phones 6 years ago and Sony copied that idea.
Sony copied aluminum phones with front and rear glass panels from iphone.

Actually, I liked very much the design of sony X smartphones. to my eyes, it is more beautiful and more eye catching than samsung s series design.
some guys are wondering why Sony is not changing their design, I think because of: 1. the current design is really a beauty; (Omni-balance) symmetrical design (which is focused on creating balance and symmetry in all directions. according to Sony) and normally humans like symmetrical things from the first look). 2- uniqueness, to realize that it is Xperia smartphone from the first look. 3- a new design may or may not nail success, so Sony goes for what is tried before and already have fans. of course there are exceptions
