For me HTC = Boomsound
So if they remove front facing boomsound speakers, I won't be interested in even reading about it. I would better buy a Nexus 6P

From e8 i wanted to try m9 but the availability of that phone sucked. It took me 8-9 months before i could hold the phone myself,by that time i was not happy and made up my mind not to support bad availability. And there are still modells not available here. So with the strategy HTC are using,it is clear where that will take them. NOWhere.

I looked for 3 months before upgrading and when this beauty came with its smooth edges, snappy marshmallow it was a buy. The camera is great, battery is good in reality. Yes yes. I brought 3 from the usa as Australia has been denied these units for now

If yo... morethank god somebody has some common sense :) thank you for that...few of my comments have been deleted when I spoke openly about crushing HTC through media, especially one article on gsmarena that wrote about the last render published on HTCs official Twitter account...HTC has some really good phone, quality ones, durable and good looking...people complain about short battery life on HTCs flagships, but never say anything against other phones from Samsung and LG (I won't mention Apple, because apparently it so good that it is untouchable, selling midrange phones for the higher prices every year just because it has an bitten apple glowing logo on the back)
One x9 and A9 are excellent phones (A9 with a bit too high price though, 380$ would be decent price for that kind of phone)...mark my words, M10 will be a beast...

Again this WRONG information about the DOF. Right, larger aperture, more background blurr. BUTT, its the total aperture size, not the relative. Ever wondered, why a DSLR camera with F4.0 has a lot more background blurr than a smartphone with F1.8? Exactly, because the aperture in smartphones is in relation to the sensor size. On a full frame DSLR it would be around F12 and that's the DOF you get.
Comparing the galaxy s6 with a 1/2.5 sensor with F1.7 aperture and the one m10 with F1.9 at a 1/2.3 Sensor, we can calculate, that both phones have around the same size of the aperture because it is indirect proportionally to the sensor size.
So whoever writes this articles, please do some research on how a camera works.

Every company has their cons and pros, htc have build quality, sound, and sense, and that is their best and in that they are and will be number 1, if they make great camera and battery, they will be number 1 in everything.

I like htc phones. Currently own m7 and would like to upgrade and if m10 will be at the same level as s7 or G5 with metal unibody I will buy it! If not, I will go ether G5 or X performance.

I don't understand why people try to tear HTC down... If you don't like their phones or products, don't buy them.. But, don't put your bias opinion in people's heads before they even go out and try the phone. A big reason for HTC's poor sales has to do with the fact that these bias journalists who just blow things out of proportion... (cough cough m9 overheating issues) I use the shit out of my m9 and never had any overheating issues..
