Thank you.I work with a local network provider, and the only phones with burned-in screen are amoleds on our phone desk (s6, s6 edge+, and the new a5 (2016) is already getting the marks). So i believe the burn in is still possible, as for the bulged battery, it has been very little problems with battery since the S5, at least they got that sorted :)

Batteries being non-removable or removable comes in part with the design of the phone, not necessarily on technology. If a company desires, they could manufacture two similar phone models with an identical battery but places the variation on the design of the phone such that one has a unibody to having a non-user replaceable battery while the other one having a removable (wherever) part of which the user could conveniently swap a spare battery into

However, the manufacturers successfully brainwashed the masses through marketing to have the misbelief that Amoled is better.
The burn-in is the nature of the AMOLED technology. You can't deny the laws of physics. The same stands for the non-removable battery.

InSane, 07 Mar 2016in Romania you can find it at around 400 euros...newWell...depends of the source. I use Amazon as a reference point. You go on eBay, you can find them cheaper. The point is - it's not more expensive than S7edge. Well...at least in EU.

Burn in isn't an issue anymore, batteries don't bulge anymore. Last time I had a bulging battery was on a Nokia 6300, and as I said, I completely abused a galaxy nexus far more than that. Sometimes it was literally too hot to touch, and still no bulging battery. Currently, while your phone's battery may deteriorate, it wouldn't deteriorate much within the first three years.
And FYI, my current phone is an s5 and has a removable battery and I most likely won't be using the feature.
And you still ignore the fact that in terms of quality and efficiency, amoled is better. Even Apple will start using amoled. You really think they would risk ruining their brand image with burn-in?
But at least you changed your mind about the g5 design.
Anyway, let's stop here. It's clear you came here with a time machine from 2005 and don't understand current smartphone technology yet.

All AMOLEDs suffers from burn-in. Don't need to justify your purchase because you bought a Samsung device.
The batteries that all phones have (lithium) degrade after 1-2 years of usage, till they become completely useless. There is no exception.
You are probably one from the mass who judge a phone by it's look. But for people who have common sense, the design doesn't count. They care only about features and usability.

IPS is better than Amoled. Amoled suffers f... moreAmoled doesn't have many issues anymore, and nor does battery. This isn't 2010 anymore. I've abused a phone from 2011 (galaxy nexus) with no burn - in problems after being on for 10 hours at a time connected to a charger, and no battery bulge either. I did this for 2 years, and before that the phone was already quite worn out.
And it's funny how removable battery isn't a gimmick but having an actual good battery life is. -_- Standard batteries don't degrade much until at least 3 years of usage. I've had 3 smartphones with removable battery and I've never replaced it before.
And you are probably the only person in the world who thinks the g5 looks good. The S7 edge is the best looking phone on the market.
