Google is piloting a Hands Free mobile payment service, no need to take phone out

02 March, 2016
Google is testing a new payment service totally separate from Android Pay. It will allow customers who have their hands full (one of the few examples given is if you are shopping with small children) or customers who are just lazy, to pay in-store without taking out the phone and with minimal interaction.

The startup offered customers free access to SMS, mobile network, fixed and wireless internet, with a limit set on the volume of basic services. Freedom Pop for Free Internet. NetZero for Free Internet. Wi-Fi Free Spot for Free Internet.
free-data-for-android4 If is possible you can not get your own free internet .If you have landline its still possible free dial-up ISP like that NetZero.

The problem is fragmentation, but the latest version of android is more secure than the latest version of iOS, even with it being as open as it is.

IF they manage to get the security right, this could be awesome... but this is Google / Android, meaning that is a VERY big if.

Opening new ideas for thieves and hackers.
                                  I will never use it.

I'm amazed at companies/manufacturers about why they don't allow the previous technologies to become matured/affordable/available enough and always seem to be into a race to bring something entirely new to the market first. This trend is crazy!! Earlier era was good when the technology used to last 5 or even 10 years.

Off topic: why the cardboard megnatic button doesnt work for my Nexus 6P. Not sure whether my device has a required sensor or not. If anyone has got a clue, kindly reply.

                                    Thanks in advance!

Another problem with using moderate range radio waves for cash payments is the exposure to hackability. NFC is inherently safer than wifi and bt in this regard because of it's miniscule range.
