Anonymous, 04 Mar 2016HTC ONE A9 looks better than iphone 6s.Yes absolutely it does. The A9 looks much better and feels much better than IPhone 6s. No question about that. That was my comparison before buying after 3 months of looking.

I didn't even consider how one will constantly be accidentally triggering force touch, because you press too hard, and then launching features you didn't want, like accidentally right clicking on a computer. That's going to be incredibly annoying.

raonaveen, 04 Mar 2016Its the same old story. First android fans will say its a g... moreYou mean like active noise cancellation (with the Audience chip) that was introduced in the Nexus One and later copied by the iPhone 4? Or do you mean like the pull down notification drawer that Android had long before iOS? Or perhaps you mean interactive notifications that came in Android before iOS had it? Or do you mean the 4.7 inch and larger screens that were in Android phones years before the iPhone? Or do you mean 1080p resolution screens that appeared in Android phones two years before the iPhone? Maybe you mean NFC payments and other NFC features that Android phones had three years before the iPhone? Or you could mean optical image stabilization that came in Android phones years before the iPhone 6 Plus got it? Or do you mean predictive keyboards and third party keyboards that came in Android long before iOS? Or do you mean using "Hey, Siri" to activate Siri hands free, which came well after "Okay, Google"? Or do maybe mean video demos of apps in the app store, new to iOS 8, but has always been a feature in Android? Or lastly, could you mean the way Nokia pioneered the modern smartphone, with their N series phones, long before the first iPhone existed (which was not even a smartphone and had a fraction of the features of the N series phones)? Thanks for setting us straight!

You are right about one thing though. A lot of dumb gimmicky features are copied from Apple, because somehow they convince the iHerd they need these things and then the market is forced to follow suit. Whereas Apple only copies actually useable good features from Android, so they should get credit for that.

Chen, 04 Mar 2016True. And a handful of apps support 3D touch. :( The only... moreNokia was on to something with the McLaren project, which was proper 3D touch. You supposedly controlled the phone via gestures without touching the screen. More advanced and simpler than the failed Amazon Fire Phone which was half-baked. It's unfortunate it was cancelled.

Looking over the comments so far, there are few people who know the real problem with 3D technology, and speak knowledgeably, but there are also many suckers as anonymous or abandoned (the nature and make errors) that did not have anything.
Apple highlights essential application for the first time at the level of trade of this, which is why technologists deserves my praise.

HTC always built high quality, good looking design phones that uses high grade materials.

Luckily not Samsung crap that build nexus this year.

The only, basically, best feature of 3D touch that I've used is the 'quick view' for emails in the "Mail App". Don't have to open the email to see what's inside; just hard press the subject line.
Then again, Samsung's Air View does basically the same thing, when I had the S4, which was released in 2013.

I agree that this feature is not really invented by Apple, but at least they make it more innovated. I already used it with my Blackberry storm 2, 4 years from now on... and it was so crappy experience ever to have it! anytime you make a task it allways requires you to hard press the screen, end-up you allways worrying off breaking your screen. really, a very terrible phone! at least Apple made it better.

In fact the 3D touch was available from along time, it is the same baisc function with the Iphone 3D but doesn't do as much, it only allow you to delete, remove, and show details. Apple just made abig deal from it.
