Bucho, 09 Mar 2016iphone never had removable but still nobody questions to ha... moreMostly because of all the hate towards Samsung.
As in Apple's case you also don't see the none replacable battery hate towards Sony.
Being a Samsung hater without any real reason seems to be a trend here and over the internet.

When LG introduced the G2, which had a none removable battery and no microSD slot, the LG groupies were all quiet, when Samsung did it; "jolly hooow, lets jump on the hate bandwagon". Fanboys&groupies = Brain Dead Monkeys.

I am interested in the "my sources", and indeed, will have a battery that can substitute. For this, i thank those from Samsung, deserve congratulations.

If not s7, then s7 edge; if not s7 edge, then note 6; if not note 6, then A9 Pro, else no phone at all.

zac89, 08 Mar 2016I hope not because the build quality will be compromised...... morethen,
you should go to apple store and buy an iphone.

btw i'm glad that Samsung finally listened to their fans.
now let's pray that the next Galaxy Note and Galaxy S-series will have removable battery too.

Oh wow. Fantastic that Samsung is going back to more sensible functional design. Note.5 was a big failed experiment -no memory expansion, no removable battery achieving only some 3 hours Screen On Time usage, fragile glass back, flawed S Pen silo design, and no IR blaster. They tried to do an iPhone replica with the same missing features.

If the A5 2016 was to user the expandable storage for the S7, A9 Pro looks like it's ushering the return of the removable battery. The Note series is suppose to be the ultimate portable smartphone that is a tool, not some ornamental fragile $%!# like the Note.5 was.

A removable battery would mean being able to have extra batteries or extended batteries for more heavier extended usage without having to carry powerbank/charger/extra phone.

I for one use the Zerolemon 10000mAh for the last 2 weeks, and an extremely heavy usage can get up to 10+ hours SOT over the span of 15+ hours of my Note 3 being a hotspot, 7+ GB LTE. And I can even have 1.5 days if I use just 8 hours SOT, and 4GB data.

Point of a removable battery is being able to control the amount of battery, not having to wait for hours to regain power, and not to bring around a powerbank.

Why do we have to inherit the power problems of iPhone users?

                  Now this is great news!

A series is basically the beta models for their S line up.
If the model works they will prolly do this to S8 or something. lol

To do this, as he did, a phone with battery that you can replace, i can only.. CONGRATULATE the company Samsung. ....I will always, when you do things.
Do you have a big WHITE ball, from me, Samsung. YES. THIS IS OK.

I hope not because the build quality will be compromised... It already has 4000mah battery that will last more than a day... I would rather have glass, non removable back...
