Sagittarius, 22 Mar 2016It is really up to the consumers. Exynos and SD has its str... moreBenxhmarks are just benchmarks though.
The exynos even opens and runs most apps better with better ram management.
As well as means better battery life but a decent margine.
And as always a much better quality audio chip.

Its almost always meant less throttling too. But I havent seem enough wvidemce either way this time around to see of thats true or not.

Snapdragon this time so far has benchmarks and gpu bursts.
And people who talk about roms most not have ever actually used an exynos varrient vefore because they have always had great rom support.

If after one week you are still noticing poor performance in battery you may have a counterfeit phone. Also, look in your battery settings to see what could be draining a lot of battery.

It is just not built in like the snapdragons. All S6/S6edge Note 5 are exynos and they work fine in the USA. The components exynos don't have built in makes it use extra power.

AnonD-516914, 21 Mar 2016I would love to know your source for this and read it.I think I was wrong about patent stuff. Maybe I read that from an unreliable source. But it apparently does have something to do with the LTE.

"Snapdragons are optimized for US networks" is the best explanation I've seen.

Edit: Exynos doesn't support CDMA while Snapdragon does. Of course! China and Japan use CDMA too.

AnonD-516914, 21 Mar 2016 So is this Samsung screwing the United States Market with ... moreThere's a reason why the touchscreen is very sensitive - Gloves; and various situations where bare hands are no longer an option.

You are telling that people may lose the sim tray ejector and attribute that as a downside of the device? And that part about it fitting many other holes totally cracked me, man.

Blame waterproofing for the poor performance of speakers, and microphone sensitivity.

Do some reaserch about latest camera technologies. Then you'll understand that the 'downgrade' from 16MP to 12MP is NOT a downgrade.

If both have the same resolution, the bigger display will ALWAYS have less PPI than the smaller. Besides s6 edge + has lower PPI than S7 edge. Google it.

That thing about the battery loosing 30% of its capacity in 6 - 12 months is absolute BS. Samsung would happily replace the battery for free if it couldn't hold in 80% of its charge during the 1st year.

USB - C was omitted because the GEAR VR uses USB 2.0

I agree with you that removing IR blaster is a bad move, about the bloatware and that slipperiness . Apart from that I don't even believe you have/had a S7 edge to begin with. No sane person would buy one and then say it's expensive and that they dont like the edge screen.

This Web Browsing test is on WiFi, right?

I really want to see a Web Browsing test on LTE.
I don't know is it's just me, but my GS6 consumes a LOT of battery when I use LTE...

I'm curious about the LTE modem consuption (S820 vs E8890).
