Huawei P9 benchmarked, Kirin 955 put to the test

07 April, 2016
Not a full 10 more than the Kirin 950 inside the Mate 8, the designation leads you to believe than not much is changed, and that's indeed the case.

I believe Geekbench instruction mix is broken. GSM should use something like TabletMark In any case Kirin 955 seems cache limited. A 8% increase in speed turned out in less than 2% actual performance.

Teach them a lesson at all, Xioami and Meizu. P9 is not a phone with top facilities as those from Huawei that target, another category of buyers, but P9, will seriously compete on S7, Apple SE.

If thinking a little more folks at Huawei, and put the processor Snapdragon phone 820 on it, one could compare to LG G5 or HTC 10, best phones, always, in the moment. So, can compare only with second hand 7 from Samsung.

price will fall very quickly if HTC 10 will have a better camera.

P9, a phone call of middle-class, but pretensions of top level. Huawei had to use Snapdragon chipset 820, and then the phone was top class.

Nobody needs this bullshit of benchmarks...if i want max performance I use my laptop... A phone is a phone...you need good reception, good battery life and, if you whant, some extras, like good camera, like in P9. The most important thing for majority is to look expensive,in this way they think people will say: "Wow,he has an iPhone,he is rich!!"...but he (or she, whit no discrimination) is just ...snob

why do the Chinese manufactures use such good CPU cores, but such terrible GPU's.
to me graphics performance is considerable more important than CPU performance.

Benchmark are so theoric. In fact the Mate 8 can run Real Racing at 60fps with no problem, great that gsmarena didn't use shitty antutu.

                          Sorry for my english
