OMG the x10mini is a pointless phone why release this aswell!!!! its slow,ugly interface is rubbish all beacause its a sony!!! my advice save your money!

ZeeR, 29 Jun 2010u don't get my point. this phone is small and handy but it ... moreScreen size is not that bad, I am using 2.6 size, yes its not the best of course but for regular task, daily but usual surfing, checking emails and setup tasks and calanders kind of works, specially making calls using phonebook and doing heavy or some texting, 2.6 is just right size for someone who doesn't want to go big screen, with keyboard of this quality it is just right combo with a growing (I am still not fan of) Andriod.
Thickness needed here for
1. Good hold
2. Proper build
3. Enough battery power

The point is other slider phones don't have to be really THICK to be comfortably held by hands.

And people stop blaming the smallish screen, if you think you are mature so surely you can read this phone's name SE Xperia X10 "MINI" pro. SE really mean it.

Guys, just don't understand why there must be a need for intense bickering. Whichever phone you buy, it's just a matter of personal choice.. nothing more nothing less! It's the manufacturers and telcos which gets embarassingly rich with all these head-banging amongst ourselves... not to mention free ads for them. So stop whacking each other and stop giving them free advertising.

Just check ebay and one shop is selling the x10 mini pro under $340.00, which for an unlock android phone is reasonable. I'm sure the price will drop further down after a month or two.

i think after 1 month it will be about 300$ and then it is a really good phone in its price range

Who ever rush to buy first batch from the assembly line is gonna pay for bugs and price. If you wait a couple of months the price drops and the firmware update will come. Just look at iphone 4. I wouldn't mind taking this while going fishing or other out doors activity as a second phone.
