And no. The S7 camera has many advantages.
It focuses much faster is better in low light by a decent bit, and handles dynamic range a lot better! A lot.
I love my note 5 camera but the way tge S7 handles things like light fixtures abd dynamic range is a huge improvement.
And in most cases it captures equal detail or more with a larger fov.
Some of that is from better light gathering with less noise and faster focus. Not all just sharpening.

Agreed.. IR Ports are being phased out like the rest.. samsung was good cause specs were better than rest.. IR needs to be back soon..

Give me my IR port back!!!!! I mean come on. I bought the Note 4 with Infrared to do everything I needed. Went and grabbed a Note 5 when it was released. 12 hours later, returned it when I realized the IR port was gone. SAMSUNG, with this Note 6, please bring back the IR (infrared ) and put both the charging and audio on the same side/ bottom.

Everyone relax, the Note 6 will be fine. Even if it only has 32gb of memory it will have an SD card slot like its siblings in the S7 series. If the camera is the same as the S7 theres no good reason to buy it over the S7 edge+. I also honestly think the previous generation 16 mega
pixel camera is better than the current generations 12 megapixel camera minus low light
shots.
