Roger, 24 Apr 2016Agreed. It's called Greed. Pure-greed of the sellers. La... moreactually the main reason why we get screwed in aus us due to the import taxes and so forth PLUS we are an isolated country.

yeh things are more expensive BUT out minimum wage here is $18 an hour. anything else is against the law and sever penalties could apply if you dont follow the rules.

its all about the market and dollar value here.
when the aus dollar was over the states dollar it was hell crazy NOT to buy anything from OS.

Just look at the cost of housing in Sydney.

Was once the most expensive city to live in.

            Hardly anything below 1 million.

Every flagship here will set you back $1000+

iPhone 6Plus 128GB is a astonishing $1500 but everyone here buys it on a 2 year contract.

              Z5 Premium $1250

Anonymous, 23 Apr 2016it's more expensive than other mkts. The retails rip ppl offAgreed. It's called Greed. Pure-greed of the sellers.

Last year, I take 3 months holiday in Australia, everything is more expensive than the States, from the smallest items to luxury goods. In the supermarket, same fruits and foods are more expensive than in USA. In restaurant, stakes are more expensive, even the burgers are much smaller and more expensive. In the shops, same electronic gadgets cost much more. Same IWC watch costs $700 more, Breitling $400 more... Same BMW cost USD$40K in US, but AUD$70K+ in AU. Italian super car USD$150K in US, but well beyond AUD$300K in AU.

AUS average wage is lower than USA, and some people are happy to pay much more for the greed of the shop owners?!

                  It's pure-ludicrous!

HTC it has an electronic configuration far superior to S7. And price sales lower.
What will choose does normal people ?
                    Hard to answer, huh?

Contracts here in aus a decent when comparing to other markets.
Handsets are heavily subsidies but contracts are commonly 24 months.
Butvstill I cant complian for $50 a month I get 12gb data and unlimited calls and texts nation wide.

Data speed test show 39mb down, 15mb up on 4g with my n7105.

Most people here in Aussie buy phones through the carriers, so the big price tag doesn't bother too much people.
