Can't wait to buy a new 820 nexus phone. Hope Google will announce it next week.
The factors that prevent me from buying 6P are that it uses 810(although some people say it won't have the heat problem), 3G RAM and the black stripe on the rear.
But I would accept the black stripe if it has a better CPU and larget RAM.

Anonymous, 29 Apr 2016microsd slot anyone?I have had enough with the SDcard problems with Google tightening security. My Samsung Galaxy S4, which has an SD card, using Lollipop 5.0.1 is constantly deleting apks that can move to my External SD card. This is why my next Smartphone will not have an SD card. I will have 64+ Gigs of internal storage, maybe 128Gs.

AnonD-308477, 30 Apr 2016the size of 6p is perfect. The reason i did not get the pho... moreI strongly agree, the size of nexus 6P is in the perfect realm. It is good for media conception with that front facing stereo speakers and and perfect for web browsing with that big screen.
if there is a bad thing about nexus 6P( i wouldn't say bad, but not perfect) is its soc, S810.
if this iteration is going to fix it with s820, then this years nexus 6p will be close to perfect than ever before.
Honestly i like the last years nexus 6P's design, it might seems little odd with that big visor, but i think it has a weird ergonomic attractiveness to it(imo)

AnonD-531894, 30 Apr 2016Damn you are chasing your own tail. Nexus is not a media ph... morehaha :D you actually have no brains, no logic at all, you probably sitting with some galaxy phone and talking sh!ts. Nexus is more for software and software customisations/custom roms/testing. It wasnt made just for normal use like for taking photos and watching videos. Obviously all smartphones are going for all features, but if you have logic, every company has some different goal. You really dont know what it means to have front facing speakers on 5 inch phone? poor you... its already a mess '5 inch + front facing speakers'
if you really think 5 inch with speakers will look SO GOOD like nexus 6p or moto x style, yes, poasible, but why would you need that, if speakers will be sh!tty quality? use your brains once again, stop trolling.

AnonD-531824, 30 Apr 2016Well that actually depends on if your processors cache was ... moreYep that's what I meant on my previous comment. The chipset I was comparing was the i3-3120M vs i5-3337U vs i7-2637M. My i3 is older compared to the i5 but newer against the i7 but still achieve the best performance due to power optimization of the U series(i3-M vs i5-U) and newer proccessing technology(i3-22Nm vs i7-32Nm). So a lower end or an older proccessor might performed better than it's rivals depends on the construction set and it's architechture. The fact that Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 64-bit chipset is a bit same with Intels i5 and i7 where it has a lower clock cores as a daily driver and only has the higher clock used if we want to speed things up. Not really fond to this really...

Smartphones in general are meant for media, that's why the Nexus is stock and prone to customization in the first place. Holy cow, your logic is shocking. You think you define what the Nexus is, but you don't. The strange thing is you act like you sound so smart saying that stereo speakers are bad on a 5-inch screen. Do you even realize the amount of 5-inch phones that implement stereo speakers? Someone's ignorance is off the charts.

the size of 6p is perfect. The reason i did not get the phone was because it was slow to be available. I was in need of a new phone. Now i have meizu pro 5,size 5.7". What i dont like about it is flyme. I dont want to go down to smaller phone. And 6p is still on my mind. If Samsungs s7 was bigger i would buy it.

If only Sammy would make the next Nexus. Best hardware and stock Android. Google, make it happen

Nexus is more for PERFORMANCE and the best nexus was nexus 5... since camera quality was decent but it was soo damn fast. Google is making mistakes these days for not making performance nexuses like nexus 5 was. camera is already good we want speed and good for gaming with no lag with ability to custom rom/mod/root and etc. how nexus have to be.

AnonD-523334, 30 Apr 2016Stop guessing. It is sd820. Nothing different. 1.59 ghz is ... morewhy you so mad? why people cant speculate? Think about it: Stereo speakers with great camera. It also has a stock marshmallow experience. All the necessities are actually there, except it's too big! The irony is that the Nexus 6P is nearly the best smartphone, but single-hand use is a standard for owning a smartphone.

Then again, the Galaxy S7 could've been the perfect phone. But it had to only have one speaker... of which sounds muffled. I could sacrifice having bloaty Touchwiz if the S7 had good stereo speakers (or maybe even vice versa).

(You'd probably be recommending me the M9. But I don't believe that its camera is 'modern'.)
