Lenovo starts rolling out Vibe P1 Marshmallow update

    You will be taken to Engg Mode. Manual Test FPS over there.
    IF the test result is fail, it's a hardware fault (Could be faulty cable or any such thing).
    Take your cell to Nearest Service centre.
    I am facing similar problem, though there is no service centre in my home town

          Do below Steps one by one DON'T IGNORE ANY STEP:

          1- download Lenovo Smart Assistant, it will help you downloading Officially OTA update (1676MB) on you PC to avoid extra charges from mobile data, and it resumes if you disconnected.



          2- Backup all your data from internal storage and also external SD (Important).



          3- Do Factory Reset from settings (this is important step which all of others peoples claimed problem issues didn't do that as Lenovo Support recommended to do factory reset after upgrading, no it must be done before upgrading)



          4- After doing factory reset reboot it and do all configurations until reach Home launcher



          5- After OTA update downloaded you will find it in (program files >Lenovo Smart Assistant >downloads >update.zip).



          6- copy that file into your EXTERNAL SD (which you formatted before)



          7- Now POWER OFF your phone and then go to stock recovery mode by pressing Vol+, Vol-, and Power button.



          8- Do upgrade or update from update.zip



          9- 100% completed successfully do restart now and will go live normally



          10- it's up to you doing another factory reset or not, it doesn't matter as it works normally.





          All please note:



          After doing that all works fine, no SIM cards disconnecting both dual working fine, Wi-Fi is perfect than lollipop, NFC works fine, Fingerprint is very very good and has more options.

            Rk, 01 May 2016I have started Getting a update of marshmallow in my phone ... moreIn case of signature error, just factory reset your phone and then install it,

            I tried twice i got signature error, then after factory reset it worked in first attempt,.............

            After 6 is updated im resetting my phone again as read somewhere in the comments. hope i dont face any issues.

Somehow doze and background app is conflicts and not running thats phone rebooting itself fingerprint can use after first time pin used after restart phone. Hope ur problem will be solved. Dont mind over my bad English language

                Go to power management option in setting menue and unrestrict all apps. Can solved all new marshmallow update problem. And vibe p1 will work again smoothly and have more features in 6.0.1 update enjoying lenovo vibe p1

                  I just listed out few interesting changes bought by Lenovo in Marshmallow update for VIBE P1 users.
                  1.Changes in UI- Which is Awesome (Didn't changed to vertical scroll they attached search in horizontal scroll itself)
                  2.Settings- Google App is now integrated within Settings. Few menus have been differently grouped and rearranged.
                  3.Fingerprint Settings- Now more than two fingers can be added in fingerprint.
                  4.Fingerprint Guestures- No need keep tapping home button just with finger print sensor u can control your home button with three different options.
                  5.Phone & Contacts- Major UI Change and its lovely.
                  6.Other Important Features- Marshmallow features like now on tap, App control etc unlocked.
                  Note: the whole update is around 1.6GB make sure you update via WIFI.

                            Lots of problems after upfating lenovo vibe P1 to marshmallow
                            1 auto rebooting
                            2 sim card disconnected
                            3 wifi disconnected
                            4 fingerprint recognizing so bad
                            5 lots of functions are not working
                            6 set restarted it self

                                i cannot upgrade to marshmallow with wifi ....it only works wit mobile data and that take a lot of money... why is that can any body help??

                                    Hi All,

                                    Since ever i upgraded to 6, i am facing the following problems:

                                    1. The screen isn't getting unlocked even after entering the pattern.
                                    2. The battery capacity has degraded.
                                    3. Somehow the phone got unlocked on its own, and all the contacts are gone.
                                    4. Unable to open up some basic apps like Whatsapp.
                                    5. Mobile data gets turned off on its own.
                                    6. Power saver not working.
                                    7. Frequent hanging. once in 10 mins.
                                    8. Currently its locked and i am unable to unlock my phone.

                                    Can anybody help me out.?

                                        Hey....I use Android 6 past 2 days.I just facesing lost of issues. Battery drain fast. Bluetooth can't indicate my Bluetooth headsets battery. There is no option in camera to set quality n resolution.
                                        Any body can tel me how can I get my last version 5.1 back
