Dovice, 02 May 2016S7 series are waterproof with MicroUSB. Little difference. It is not that easy to design a device with a different (relatively new and more complex) connector that can satisfy requirements for waterproof certification. Electrical engineers know this, reason why there is absolutely no USB-C + waterproof smartphone. It may come this year, it is possible, just that it took more time.

All i said was ... if it was a important feature then most of the manufacturers would have done the same. Look at fingerprint scanner .. that feature spread to each and every phone within a year .. now that's called an important feature. Front speakers/stereo speakers are not an important feature !! .. understand ????? .. i guess u will after taking that crash course .. good luck !!

HTC has stereo front speakers for 4 years now but:
1. They are stupid and don't have an AMOLED screen! A big NOPE to buy
2. They have a crap camera! Even the name of the photo is not YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS are so stupid
3. HTC have a crap proc
4. HTC phone /s have a lame battery / battery life and don't have fast charges
5. HTC have big prices but low characteristics
so is not enough to have only stereo and when they got it pretty right with M10 they forget the stereo speakers.
You can NOT have a good camera in one year and a bad proc and after a year you HTC make a phone with a good proc but lame camera !!?!!!?
and after to make a good camera a good proc but forgot the speakers !!!??!!

Faster transfer rates and the departure from the terrible mechanical flaws of micro usb are just bonuses compared to the charge time.

If someone is at work or in bus will use, yes, headphones.
But to tell that front stereo speakers is not a good thing or a needed thing is totally wrong !!!!

I will use maybe, sure, headphones in train... but at my very home I want to NOT USE headphones , or external bar sound or 5.1 boxes I can't carry with me at... picnic, hotel rooms, ...

Clarification, 03 May 2016Welcome to 2015 when modern manufacturers moved on USB-C.What is good about USB-C? Yes it is reversible, but that is about it.. specifications are not normalised, quick charging not supported it is much bigger connector than USB-micro..
I might sound like apple fan not - but Samsung doesn't take USB-C because it is premature and I hope it won't be in Samsung phones for at least 3 more years. This is not like iphone sticking with 8mp camera for 4 years... just because they are crap and want to maximise proffits by using cheapest camera setup on the market..
