iPhone 4.0.1 software update out, improves signal strength formula

These phones definately have a reciever problem with signal strength especially on the move. My husband is a lorry driver and he loses the signal a lot and the phone hangs. It also is weak near to the coast. It also takes longer to connect to the internet than my old Nokia 7373!

Apple is again making fool of common people...the update only show dummy full signals on device display and that is why calls are dropped. The hardware issue is not solvable like this and why they did is to keep the irrated customers calm and meanwhile they will make changes in their new production units by either altering the design or updating the inbuilt attenas....i am surprised why people are happy after buying such expensive faulty handset :-)))

The fact that this has a compnay the size of Apple so worried and nervous that it's CEO comes out of hiding to have a offical "excuse" conference just for 0.55% of the users, that's pure nonsense.
I saw on Foxnews that AT&T stores reported that it's affected over 41% of their iPhone 4 customers.
It's so bad that Apple stock has been diving downwards for the second week in row, and it took a big plunge today agaian and people are loosing millions on Apple stock.
It went up a fraction of a point when the update was released, bit i also wrote yesterday to wait until people have updated and see that they are being screwed again, then Apple stock will fall again.
Bottom line, a company the size of Apple does not go down like a broken submarine in the stockmarket if only 0.55% are affected!? Anyone one with common sense can smell bulls*it from a mile away, the question is, can you?

What middleschhol grade are you in? You do realize that those are a couple hard searched vidos with different users using different Nokia phones. It means that those are single faulty units or that hose 6 people tampered with them to maek some sort of desperate point, just like u.
Come back with your nonsense when on single phone model has over 100 000 videos with the same problem posted all over the web like from different users as well as techsites and news. And about ur theory about the hardware warming up to become stable and more effective, that's total bullshit. Its not a diesel truck nor its rubber tires.
In technology, motherboards and micro chip sets, and other hardware found in most devices perform much better when they cool down rather than heating up, and that's a fact bug brain.

I went from multiple Nokia devices with poor support and bugs and thought "well, i refuse to be a Nbeta tester, and decided to try the iphone. Well, I'm convinced now that, apart from Android phones, the iphone is MUCH better than Nokia's devices in that it is better for the casual cool user, not the geek.
Nokia should have embraced Android, instead it labours on with the tired Symbian format.

Hi GSM Arena,
I just updated mi iphone 3g and i noticed that when i turn on wi-fi, i lose all the reception bars slowly, and withinn a few seconds im left with NO SERVICE!!! Can you check this out???
