That just made my day I love android. I used to have a iphone 4s but I switched to a samsung galexy core lte. I'm fourteen so I get what I get I mean the galexy core lte is hardly the best samsung has to offer still better than the 4s tho or any iphone simply because there iphones. Any way dint mean to sound like a brat I love my samsung and much appreciate it. Any way I hope there will come a day when samsung is at the top followed by LG and nexus and those being the only smartphone manufacturers that exist and many apple being a solely advirtisment company... I cause that's all there really good at you know with all the fancy meaningless words and fooling and making there stuff seem like there worth something don't know how they do it.

Windows Phone is dead. Microsoft does not dare to *really* compete with Apple & Google (they need to invest billions of $ in marketing and their eco system to be able to). I guess they are happy enough with their desktop oriented business (software) market. Too bad Nokia got killed along the way :(

Android is getting updates ju... morethere's nothing to lol. thats a fact. not everybody knows how to install a custom mod. what about aged people? just hit the update when you get one from ota. my roomate has a 4 year old iphone5 with latest ios version. have an xperia p again 4years old, i dont find marshmallow or lollipop any where i am stuck with buggy custom kk. you will only get updates from google till 2years, then its your luck if you find any devs @xda helping/moding you. and not every one change phone every 2 years.

They don't have to deal with carrier restrictions or phone manufacturers to distribute the update...they just do it. They're actually kind of annoying about it. My iPhone has been pestering me to update to 9.3.1 every other day and I don't want to do it!

Dont forget iphone is ONLY from apple, while android has a lot of different phone makers which adds skin on android with extra features. Look at nexus, and think again about what you said. Samsung is doing good aswell this time with security updates. Though old phones are abandoned, but thats not a problem since i have old galaxy ace 2 and i can run 6.0.1 on my phone while samsung official update is just 4.1.2
people having android should not be st*pid and use somr brains to google how to custom rom their phone if they are mad about updates.
Everyone knows, samsung isnt great at updates. But, i mean, doesnt people change their phones with every new Samsung flagship release? lol. Atleast 2 years.

Wow Android is a beast.
I don't even feel sorry for Windows Phone/Mobile anymore - they're terrible. Microsoft promised all WP8 Lumia's would be updated to Windows 10. Ummm, no. That was a lie. My Lumia 925 will be stuck on 8.1 forever. As if WP users didn't already have a sour taste in their mouths after the WP7 to 8 fiasco. Even if you could stomach all the lies you still would need to contend with the fact that proper flagships take forever to be released, that apps are still subpar (or missing) compared to their Android counterparts. That you will never ever have proper access to Google services. It's too much, and even people who once loved WP have finally had enough.
Goodbye Windows Mobile. You're not dead. You're just lying in some dark corner of a smartphone hospital in a total vegetative state without many visitors coming to your visit bedside. I suppose that's where you will always be.
