It's been over 2 years, the fact that they're still updating this phone is fantastic considering many phones stop receiving updates after a year.

Hey guys! I have an HTC One M8 that was bought in Dubai but brought to India. Its an AT&T phone but it came with no sim card and I am currently using my Vodafone SIM.

Is there any way in which I can upgrade to Marshmallow? Or is it impossible thanks to my unique predicament? Do let me know! Thank you!

Not meant to be a HTC hater, but why did they release Marshmallow on their old phones now that Android N developer preview is already out and the official version will soon be available? I mean yes they have good software but why not update their mobiles quickly? This is the reason why I like Sony in terms of software. They are always quick to update their phones (Android N dev. preview is now available on the Xperia Z series a couple of days after Android N dev. preview was released on Nexus devices)

droid4every1, 12 May 2016What about Galaxy S6 versions. may be in 2017 ?I do not get these versions
Apple has many variants yet they update them all at once
Samsung has it but for some reason same variant has many region versions each get an update way too late and away from each other
Like the indian 910g still no update for australia or singapore
