They look nothing alike.
If you're referring to the camera setup then I'd hardly call it copying the design, especially since a lot of phones use that setup/style/design. The OP2 is bigger, more angular, flatter and the camera setup is a little higher on the back too. Not to mention the obvious fact that the OP2 has a square setup and this is rounded.
On a different note, this is going to be quite awkwardly placed in the Moto line up, somewhere in between the E and G families. It could be a great decision - or a terrible one, depending on what specs the new E have.

It will be sold unlocked north of $100. It will start appearing on the prepaid MVNO's for slightly less than $100 and the price will decrease throughout the year. When Black Friday rolls around you'll be able to pick them up for $10.

That looks ugly, lenovo ruins everything!! I thought moto g 4 (no plus nor play) could compete with redmi note 3, but this is BS man and redmi note 4 is about to lunch
