Samsung may supply 60% of AMOLED displays for new iPhones

Apple will reportedly split supply duties between Samsung, LG and perhaps others.

JDI really needs to step their game up and get an investor. Their LTPS AMOLED technology is superior to Samsung and LG's tech but they are unable to mass produce it due to lack of funds.

        AnonD-345273, 23 May 2016Are you seriously :DYeah, but unfortunately they don't have any manufacturing equipment ready like Samsung or LG yet. Samsung is currently making 6th gen AMOLEDs while JDI is already beginning to prepare an 8th gen LTPS AMOLED line.

                                In fact, lcd looks good if it is samsung too. I have an ex high end lcd samsung tv from 2011 and its image is stunning even today. The deep level of black is incredible, the colours are strong, the contrast is very high, white can make you blind, even is just lcd, not even led lcd....but is samsung
