In UK Z5 costs GBP579 ($844), while in US $499 (Amazon).
So, it won't be priced $430 as many have thought, but $250-$300.

I'm pretty sure the people of the UK (of which I am one) would be pretty pissed off if GSM Arena suddenly started writing articles about phones for sale in the UK, but quoting the price in US$. So think before you write stupid comments. The world does not revolve around the USA, as some of you quite clearly think it does!

Good to see Sony keeping up with their tradition of overpricing their phones. Why would anyone want to buy this, except for the screen, when you can get a superior phone (Mi 5) for less than 300$?

Maybe you had a faulty unit or just you didnt use it well

Xperia X Performance has better display, better camera, better audio (including headphone output), waterproof, better software and timely updates
Mi5 has more RAM, and is cheaper. That's pretty much it.
Also, Sony is a well reputed brand, unlike Xiaomi. I'd be ashamed to use a crappy Chinese phone.
Only reputed Chinese phone company in my eyes is Huawei.

So yeah, its better. The x performance might have a better camera but that's it really. Yes, the xp has front facing stereo speakers, but I'd prefer the better screen to body ratio since I use headphones like an normal person.

The new Moto G has a Snapdragon 617 as opposed to the Snapdragon 410 in the G3. Only the "Turbo" model had a Snapdragon 615, but it was priced higher as well.
RAM, processor, screen, camera, battery all have been updated. What else do you want at the price point? You cannot get a Snapdragon 820/Exynos 8890/Kirin 950/Mediatek X20 at this price point. Even a 652/650 is relatively high end for the price point, with the sole exception of the Redmi Note 3 pro which is simply the best value phone out there.

I wish they would make an X performance with a screen size/ratio like this, then I'd be in 100%
