Samsung vs. Apple, Apple vs. Samsung, Samsung vs. Samsung. While y'all trying to check which is the best one ever they're getting more money on their pockets.
Let's the Apple fans waste all the money they want on every brand new IPhone just because it'll have a 7 instead a 6 and so on. I wish could buy a OP3 but the limitations on my country and lack of money won't allow I get it by now. Maybe I would get it when OnePlus releases OP5. Having the latest flagship is not the more important thing in the life.

The only persistent rumor is that the iphone will have same general looks as the iphone 6-6s with its antennae lines moved.

The design you are seeing in the picture are the design of the cases.

Nv, 26 May 2016If iphone 7 looks like iphone 6s plus or 6 which by the sou... moreI agree, it certainly gets boring on the looks if iphone 7 goes with similar looks to iphone 6s. But you must understand that samsung is the worst in the looks department if you had to switch for another company. Aside from s6 being identical to s7 with little changes here and there so that you have to buy new cases, the general looks and feel of all samsung phones are pratically the same so it's hard to tell if someone is using a galaxy s7 or a7 or j7 or e7 or d7 or b7 or t7 etc. of course, if that stranger lends you the phone and you remove the case and you see its shiny glass on the back with fingerprints, you know it's the s6 or s7. All sarcasm asides, if you don't mind losing a little bit of views on each side of the screen and that it's an equivalent of S model from apple (meaning that looks are not changed from last year), then the S7 edge is the most unique looking samsung out there that people will possibly not mistaken it with a cheap samsung.

If iphone 7 looks like iphone 6s plus or 6 which by the sounds of it will be the case...i'm done with apple stayed loyal for too long its getting boring now...currently i've got iphone 6s plus and like i said above...guess will be my last...samsung it is for me!

Samsung did it once, but still managed to improve it by having a curved back for better ergonomics, and fit a bigger battery in there, with a smaller camera bump.
And they did this once while still making good improvements, Apple is using the exact same design twice. Only a complete Apple fanboy would act like Apple isn't doing 'worse' in this regard.

It's not just aesthetic, but bezel design impacts the handling A LOT, just look at the Galaxy S7 Edge, it has very thin bezels, the same display size as the iPhone 6S Plus, yet, it's much more compact than a iPhone, the iPhone is much wider and taller with the same display size, and it's not just that, the Galaxy S7 Edge has a much bigger battery than the iPhone, 3600mAh against 2750mAh, and this is all packed in a "compact and slim body.
So yes, changing and improving the design is important, keeping the same 2 year old design is dumb and lazy.

iPhone 6's design was fresh and great in many ways. 2 years late, it's not the same case. Apple needs adopt a new design or be ready to continue with their downfall in sales.

cosmetic appearance of phone has reach its optimal level, it all boils down to hardware power and OS features, hardware and software integration, software updates on time that last for about 3-4 years of the phones life
