AnonD-322352, 27 May 2016Nvidia SoCs suck. That's why.Partly correct. Nvidia SoCs were never meant for overall type to begin with. It has a niche called gaming. They might suck at memory perf,threads, and other CPU-bound scenarios. But GPU throttling was never in their vocabulary.
Downside is, it comes with high TDP not suitable for smartphones. Hence, they can only go as small as tablets.

Would be fair to mention that 2 are wrong themselves by releasing inferior phones, but even more for trying to sell them at the same price as superior Samsungs.

Obviously, you are in majority of people who have no clue about specifications and are after brands e.g. you thing that because nVidia has great graphic cards for desktops, they are as well making best mobile chpsets - wrong... they chipsets are inferior. Same goes for Intel. Again Intel has best CPUs for desktops and laptops, yet their mobile CPUs are inferior.
