It's a shame we US American people are bounded and gagged by so called 'brands' but truly corporate sharks and trollers such as Samsung, Apple, Htc and some other companies.
They are like masters who controls us as puppets.
We are paying big money and getting same thing with a different name where in other big markets i.e China they're getting same products but a different name at less than half!
It's a shame how money sharks controls us like puppets.

I donot think there is a need to fight in the name of Xiaomi, only a few are pissed cause Xiaomi have not officially launched the product they want in their country.

I think zte still looks to have better prospects in the global market. They have connections with carriers in the west and stuff, and are opening stores. So their products are actually available. Plus they have a really impressive looking flagship to lead the way.
Eventually Huawei and Xiaomi would make their way too though.

Xiaomi is doing much better than tier 1 brands They will surely take over every brands in coming years.
Now only if they can ditch MIUI thing and opt for stock roms it would be great.

China is the biggest smartphone market in the World and being a leader there catapults you directly in top 5 (if not top 3) globally. Also China is home to probably 80+% of the smartphone makers. In US there is hardly anybody who pays full upfront price for a smartphone whereas all Xiaomi phones are paid in full at time of order. There are no carriers subsidizing Xiaomi. So as out-of-pocket money at time of purchase Xiaomi is more expensive than iPhone. Nobody has ever forced me to read articles about North Korea, but articles about US are constantly shoved down my throat. I would prefer to read who is market leader in Germany, Russia, Brazil, Africa and...fingers crossed... Belgium.

Sales are up in China, iPhone is peaking at same level than February, so clearly SE helping Apple a lot.
SE sales are very strong and there's proof about that, Apple cant ship enough units to meet the demand. Also in my country SE currently outselling galaxy S7

In US iPhone share only 23%, Samsung 29%. But one day Americans used 95% iPhone. Xiaomi is cheap but quality is not that bad. So slowly iPhone is dying. And one day they become a blackberry or Nokia its sure.

I use a xiaomi phone (miui software). Xiaomi has unique software that makes u enjoy. Zero lag yes it means zero lag. After couple months it won't start lagging. Continued software updates. I believe that they can sell more

It does not seem like the iPhone SE is selling that great either, lots of talk of demand no real evidence in sales. Same with Apple Watch.
