31 May, 2016
Historically, that's what the 5 in the spotted SM-N935G model number indicates.

MOST people don't realize fast charge/fast wireless charging just degrades the battery faster. This is the reason why I'm still loving my Note 3, especially even more because I know what extended batteries can give. I even went through a first set of 3 stock batteries that showed signs of degradation after 15 months.

Note 4 batteries are massively failing just after 11 months, first degrading quickly, and then causing reboots and unexpected shutdowns.

If you have root, samsung denies warranty (although it is illegal in europe). with non-removable battery, not only they will charge you for the battery, but also for disasembling and asembling your device (which will be way more expensive than the device itself).

No if there, the Note 5 did not have a removeable battery. I also love a removeable battery but Quickcharge 3 might be finally saving the day.

Anonymous, 31 May 2016Could be the s7 edge+ couldn't it?Apparently, Samsung is discontinuing the edge+ line. It didn't do that well last year, for some reason.

Not a deal killer, but I'm also hoping it WON'T have a curved screen. The deal killer is if the battery is non-removable.

Lite versions shouldn't exist. They already have a lot of series. Just no lite series, it only brings bad support

This is how big companies makes profit by saving import duty, price mentioned per unit is about INR 8000, which is $135 USD, Samsung I will buy one for sure with this price range.

The Note series is always the most expensive, and it kind of makes sense, since they dump massive amounts of effort into it. I would gladly pay +$1,000 for a phone with a 5.8" display, S-Pen, supposed MicroSD and other killer specs, than the same amount of money for a 5.5" iPhone 6S Plus with 1/4 the specs (ok, iPhones run great on lesser hardware, but big numbers make me happy lol).

it was like this with all notes

from note 1 to note 5

people wont be that stupid that cant differentiate from a note and normal phone

mir, 31 May 2016Why would they skip a number?Because the note 6 is a lower number than the s7, so some people may mistakenly think the newer phone is older. It helps keep things simpler if its the same number.
They should have done it ages ago, as soon as they decided to keep the note as a long running flagship.

Makes sense, since the display of S7 Edge costs around 23000INR after all taxes and duties in India. Pricing mentioned on Zauba is usually before the taxes and duties.
