AnonD-404798, 31 May 2016by then SD830 will be out ;) I beg to disagree. Android SoCs are doing catch-ups to an almost-a-year old Apple a9 yet it makes you wonder its surpassability on overall CPU/GPU race.
No matter how beefy an Android SoC would get if the Android OS isn't talking the way its hardware does, well...f---.
On the other hand, Apple has its own kingdom. The hardware is made for the OS and the OS is meant for the hardware. This is the very reason why their SoC which looks like on a diet, paper-wise, can trade blows with any heavyweight.
They even nitpicked TSMC over Samsung as the better performer in manufacturing tech.

AnonD-404798, 31 May 2016by then SD830 will be out ;) Hmm. In my perspective, the real problem in the Android world lies in the hardware and OS issue. If Android talks in the manner the hawrdware does, it's a win-win for Android boys.
On the other hand, Apple has its own kingdom: Hardware is made for the iOS, the iOS is meant for the hardware. So no matter how beefless their figures may get compared to beefy Android, it could still trade blows and comes out on top in some scenarios.

That bottom bit is where chinese workers finish the casings by hand without being paid. This is because molding is so poor quality that each case comes of different. As apple would say - unique.. or uniquely cheap.

So ugly and dull. I think it's better like ip5, with different color at top and bottom vs the center. It makes the antenna line bigger, and also aesthetically good, not just a stupid line like ip6, or dull no line in ip7..
