Lumigon T3 is the first phone with a night vision camera

03 June, 2016
The 4MP night vision camera sees in the dark thanks to dual IR LEDs. The phone is made of stainless steel, but there's a 24K gold version planned too!

honestly, i thought it'd actually be more expensive. maybe not the most top-tier specs, but night vision camera, premium build quality, nice design and it's a Danish company. Denmark is quite expensive by comparison afaik. so i guess it's a nice thing to have for people with some extra money on their hands who want something unusual

You can shoot B&W photos or just use white flash after focusing using IR, so you can take color pic before startling object with focus light. It may be even the tech note7 will use, well it may be in note just to focus though.

if this camera could some how keep the details of the nightvision and have another camera that can capture good low light colour this would be amazing but if it were so easy maybe everyone would do it

as for the pricing it is super justified there is no way this technology could be cheap its the only smartphone with this tech which means no bulk or mass production to keep the cost down

IR light as add-on to phone is enough, why go through trouble to buy expensive phone with 2 back cameras and just use lower res one? Every camera can see IR light. I see it just as cheap mid-range.

If it is one of those 2 chips, that's perfect. Same with the 4.8" 720p. All it needs is a 3000mAh (or more) battery and I'm pretty much sold on it.

Samsung and Apple are jealous of this nighrvision i guess. f1.7 of samsung still won't match this night vision unless they copy it mabye in 2030 because of MONEY! Take what you can samsung and apple and give us cheap phones back!

I wonder what the quality would be if you want to record or snap photos at the night sky.
Definitely interesting device even though it might have MediTek wich I'm not a fan of.
Frankly I'm very close to buying it but it's the first time I've heard about this brand. And I'm a phoneachoolic.
That CAT S60 impressed me a lot too. Why don't they make high end phones like this?
I've been dreaming about an IR & thermal camera phone for a long time.
