    @David

Your point of view is valid, but the sucsess of RAZR series and all slim phones is based only in appearance over the features. I share the same point of view but the reality show other situation.
W810 can´t update to wifi because is matter of hardware, and cant be compared with N91 because N91 is a top class phone in N series and W810 is an intermediate solution.

I also just wanted to add something else. A lot of people worry about things like software glitches, firmware, battery life, and so on. And they talk about these factors as if they negate the features of a particular phone.

But you have to separate the "temporary problems" from the actual features.

Temporary problems do not negate features. Operating glitches are usually fixed with firmware updates. Battery life may also improve if stronger batteries become available later. Software issues are always fixed with updates or better software that you can install yourself. Don't like the browser that comes pre-installed on the N91? Go to www.opera.com and download their free Symbian-based browser (designed for the very latest version of Symbian, which is what the N91 has) and use that instead. It's great. And there are lots of options with Symbian.

These problems are things that can (and do) get fixed. They don't change the fact that a particular phone came with a great set of fixed features.

However, a phone that lacks actual features cannot be fixed. Features cannot be added later. It can never be improved or upgraded. You cannot upgrade the Sony Ericsson W810 to make it access Wi-Fi internet. It simply cannot access Wi-Fi, and never will. People need to consider this before they choose their phone.

Other aspects - like personal preferences (or disliking) for colours, shapes, size, and weight - are purely subjective. That's OK, everybody is different. Personally I don't care about looks as much as features. I would prefer an 'ugly' phone that is full of great features and potential, over a pretty phone that does nothing.

Not that I think the N91 is ugly. I think it's gorgeous, and the stainless steel casing and audio buttons make it look truly unique. If you look around, most other phones are just made of plastic.
In terms of look and feel, the N91 is to other phones, what the iPod is to most other MP3 players: a slightly more 'classy' looking device that you will feel like you want to take good care of and keep clean.

Personal preferences aside, feature for feature, the N91 is the equal of any Sony Ericcson, or Samsung music-phone.

If anything, when you do a blow by blow comparison, the N91 has more features than any other phone on the market.

Compare the N91 to Sony's best music phone, the Sony Ericsson W810. The Sony Ericsson matches many of the N91's features. But the N91 (4Gb) has double the storage space of the W810 (2Gb max). The W810 also lacks two key features: 3G support and WiFi support.
And the W810 has smaller shared memory (20Mb).

        Quick explanation...
3G = potential for things requiring high-speed mobile data transfer, like having video calls on your mobile.
Wi-Fi = Wireless Internet access, which continues to grow all the time, and is faster and potentially much cheaper than GPRS based internet access on your mobile.

Now compare the N91 to the Samsung phones.
The best Samsung music phone is the i310. The i310 (8Gb) has double the storage space of the N91 (4Gb). This is great. And it also has a slightly larger screen than the N91.

But the i310 actually has fewer features overall than even the Sony Ericsson W810. It doesn't have 3G support or Wi-Fi support either. It doesn't have dedicated music buttons, or a 3.5mm audio plug (so any headphones can fit, instead of being forced to use proprietary headphones). It doesn't even have an FM radio (in order to record music from radio).

All these phones are great phones in different ways.
I just wanted to point out that it's pointless to dismiss phones, and try to create some sort of 'phone wars' just because you own a particular phone and want that to be the best.
In reality, the competition is very fierce right now, and all of these phones are great devices.
And if you look at the facts of the matter, the N91 is more than a match for anything else currently on the market.

Good 2 mp camera , great earphone sound , a complete groove (4 GB Hard Disk) ,Wi fi ,bluetooth ,steel body ,FM , It seems that NOKIA finally realised that people require all rounder mobiles rather than speciality-crazy devices. It has 352 X 288 pixels video recording (1 hour) but does it run smoothly ? Please reply back on its video performance or an internet link to a sample video .If video is good I will buy it

My mind is set for N91, new models are coming and it will be so cheap before know it. N80 beats it in screen size and camera. But n91 got good music, 4 gig, more powerful processor, and has anything n80 has. I really don't care if the loudspeaker didn't sound good, I never used it anyway in my 6630. Nothing beats the sound coming from a good pair of headphones.

I don't think that N91 is an ugly phone at all, and you can ignore its little heavy weight considering that it offers all the features one requires in a phone. If you are looking for a music phone then i recommend that you blindly go for it.

                                    @ gracie

N91 has just recently launched in Manila, Philippines and the retail price is Php37,000.00 according to the CSR I just talked to over the phone this afternoon.

Sad news however is that N80 will be lauched 3rd quarter about July, well according to the CSR I talked to. When I told him that N80 was just launched in Singapore, he was speechless...hehe...

anyway, I am sure N80 will hit our shelves by June.

                                    Regards!

What happned to you all N91 Lovers? Nokia just gave you the 3g option along with video call and didn't gave any solution huh! such a shame.

About quality..no matter what they do they cant beat ipod or any digital camera. look at the size and weight..its way to too heavy and looks ugly...bottom line is.. Its an expensive brick phone.
