Fantastic! The faster flash disappears the better. It'd be fantastic if these big companies agreed and just blocked flash completely. Then those last holdouts would be forced to finally get with the times.

You mean all those iPhones bricked by Error 53 and hundreds of iPad Pro 9.7 bricked out of the box and by ios 9.3.2? And all those iPhone 6s suffering from lag and stutter after installing the latest iOS? Really reliable and smooth. Lol

Apple users enjoy their products and are happy to pay premium prices for them. Same as those who buy luxury cars. Not needing or not affording something does not give you the right to run it down. Children do that.

You would buy them just because they still look good and its trendy to buy them?

AnonD-237590, 15 Jun 2016flash should die anywayYou have no idea how many stuff on internet still is based on it or use Flash as one of its main component.

Flash is not that bad actually, but some kids and people without knowledge still say that its bad. It is heavy in resources, but taking in to the account that it can do, its not that different than html5 or any other web based language. Actually when I still had small netbook, some html5 heavy sites work worst than those based on flash. Its all depend on polishing content of it, so good made flash site/animation can work better than any other made in different system.

And security? Its funny as heII actually, because we hear often about holes in flash... because lots of people and sites still use it. You can compare it to Windows and Mac. Windows have more security problems because its more common system, and mac is actually used by really small amount of people, but for recent years, as mac get more users... guess what? it have more security problems, because people find them and make them! Simple as hell.

And to stick to topic: disabling automatic run of scripts and content its one of first thing I set on every browser that I use. its so obvious that I have no idea why its not used that way by others.
