Paying this amount for a SD 652 device????????
Better buy Motorola line up including available x series OR go for xiaomi mi5.
Even current nexus family will be affordable.
Agreed HTC is running in RED, but this sort of pricing will actually make any loyalist move away from brand. And that is very true if we consider price conscious market of India.

so basically this is one wrong move from htc to fool no tech savvy people into buying a weaker variant of the htc 10. an average Indian dad(my dad) can be easily fooled by the sales rep if they say that the lifestyle is a better choice....its lifestyle you see...sadly it is not anything new, this model problem is more rampant in led tev section where model numbers are wierd

Seems like it was their original plan to put this on sale in India at the same price as global version. Internet rage brought global version but the price of ls version haven't changed. M really worried about future of 'nexus 2016'price.

Seriously ? 780 USD as MRP (i know its MRP but don't expect it go on sales for any less than that 680$ at least not for a while ), at this price point what is the reason for making this device (SoC 652 variant). Just to show off SoC 820 variant is better a awesome price bargain when compared to 780$ for 652 variant.
For dumb fanboys: Don't brag saying both are very similarity except for SoC and ram. Now tell me the price difference between SoC 820 + 4 GB of ram and SoC 652 + 3 GB ram is just 10$

Recipe for disaster. LG G5 released G5SE here in Indonesia, for an equivalent of $700+. In about a month that dropped to around $600. Supposed nobody buy that shit and went to an S7 instead, huh?

It's a pity HTC keeps falling down when it comes to market strategies. A good market strategy can even make a bad phone sell HTC despite all the good handset never had good figures to be proud of....how on earth would you the HTC lifestyle at same price for the top gun? Sd820 as sd65 or whatever????
Oh HTC stop disappointing me.....You are still my number one but you must make sales man. See xiaomi, Huawei from first they could get 11million registration even if that doesn't translate into the actual number of phones sold it does tell there's a good strategic marketing working out there....
