The source said: "The smartphone can now be pre-ordered globally including the U.S., as it has been listed by Gearbest, a leading e-commerce portal in China".
It's not Xiaomi official announcement.
The other thing Xiaomi Redmi 3s has 4G 1800/2100/2600. T-Mobile US 4G 700/1700/1900 and AT &T 4G 700/1700/1900/2100. It might be not 100% compatible with US 4G.

Well, just bought one from a local reseller (they bought from china because we don't have any official xiaomi reseller here in Viet Nam), for $120 USD, a bit closer to original price, it's still shipping and will arive tomorrow or the next day!
