This will be the best phone in the world in 2016. Best screen display, best cpu, and best of all USB-Type C connector, and huge battery life.

And S7 edge has the most accurate display on the market with basic mode.

Best camera performance, rated #1 by DxOMark Mobile - scores high for both stills and video.
Super AMOLED best in the industry, and burn-ins if you are too silly enough to keep it full brightness all the time.
I root my devices, and just don't do it if warranty is your issue.
And Samsung is likely to put in even put in improved components for the Note7.
What is your preferred device? An iPhone with wide bezels? LG with poor battery life and poor performing video recording capabilities? Sony with plain everything, wide bezels and poor battery? What?

Meh... Samsung phones are junk. Super amoled plusu oh ah... Yeah,right. Useless on the sun(daylight),burned-in effect is still there.Battery life... OK for a first 6 months,then will battery die.Fast! Updates... Hm.Usually late and nothing new. Probably some options will be missing. Root?Yes,but with Knox triggered and no way to going back,so by by warranty.

Overall its better for it to change sooner, but it isn't a big deal and isn't a negative to still use micro USB in 2016. Next year it will start to feel dated, as type c will just grow in popularity.

No more orienting the plug when inserting it to the port just like what you do with your micro USB, when inserted the wrong way.
You have to live with it sooner because all the new upcoming phones will adapt it.

I am happy now that it is not following the S7 Edge foot steps with only 32GB internal storage available.
Good work for Note 7 for the minimum 64GB internal storage!
Note 7 is the successor of Note 5 with the S pen functionality, not present in any "S" series phones.

Why samsung still keeping the front logo which results in huge bezels?
Samsung should just copy OnePlus, HTC or Apple to remove that ugly Samsung word logo and just place it on the back.
